I said fair? Same thing to me. If a job is worth doing for a certain number compared to other jobs when we all use legal labor, that's acceptable to me.
I don't for a second speak of a living wage. Sign spinning for example. Last I heard they make ok money for the job performed. If you can't buy a house as a sign spinner that isn't my problem.
Well, by acceptable I mean, a wage that will attract a Citizen worker on it's own merit. They always say, Americans will not take the job. And I say, if it is worth it
they will. But if we continue to import labor to fill the under paid jobs, then idle citizen list will continue to grow. Now if the citizen are not idle, then perhaps more should be goal. But only if, we know what the sustainable population should be for good life in this country. We have no more land to exploit, and people already clamor for a reduction of CO2 generation. Increasing the population is already incompatible with the current wants.
