We have the bye to train him up.
Losing Brown really really sucks though.

Grassu is an AA type Center. He's a huge loss.
Brenner is a super smart kid and freaking strong too! Grassu's you don't replace, nor the chemistry he has with his best bro Marcus, but if this has to happen Brenner can and will step up! The best news is the meat of our schedule has passed until the Pac-12 championship and playoffs and that will give Brenner a working month with the 1's.
What's the scoop on Grassu? Is his knee hyperextended or worse? As for Brown did he break his hip? My deepest thoughts go out to he and his family!
Ya know I played LB for a good chunk of my time in sports and I can only say that these kids are getting bigger stronger and faster every year without question! I wonder if at some point this sport may just become to damn dangerous! Freak accidents happen almost every game that in a split second change lives. Lord knows I love this game but kids like Brown, Grassu, Johnstone, Fisher, Andre going down like this make me question this sport more and more every day. One of my coaches always said, it's not the hit you give or get, but the one you didn't see coming that changes everything so keep your head on a swivel!
Did anyone see the actual hit that broke Browns leg or was it in the pile? I only saw him on his back after, screaming, something tells me no size of swivel could have prevented this! DAMN!

We've got two weeks to train Brenner up, and our next two opponents are Colorado and Oregon State. He'll be fine.

Two things can be equally true. Oregon should still be able to move the football vs these two, but two much better teams come after that. Losing Hronis is a huge loss going forward... hopefully he's not done for the year.
STOMP
Could be being optimistic, or cryptic, as there arent many games left in the season as is. But Hamani says Grasu is expected to miss a couple games.

It sounded like Grasu failed the ligament test. Could be an ACL or MCL. Either way he's probably done for the year.
Brown snapped his leg in half. He's done for the year.
We have till December to get Grasu back. The Bye, Colorado, and Oregon State will do good to build up Brenner. If he does good with Marcus, he could stay in for ASU due to Grasu would be coming in cold
Brenner was solid. No worries at all.
