I'm a coward, yet you've posted my name on the board, and won't post your own.

Mmmkay.

I'm not ignoring you. Why would I? You're as big as an asshole as I am, if not a bigger one.

Half the people here know my name, maybe one or two know Zags' name, yet I'm a "coward".

What a pathetic, tiny man.

I didn't post it. Nate Bishop did after I had PM'd it to him once when I was a mod (during the whole BenDavis thing), and Zags got upset once and started spamming it on the board.

Nate got upset one day and posted that PM, and Zags the coward must have copied it down for later use.

Yes, you've never busted anybody's balls or mocked them. I could post your name, but why would I? You've never done anything to harm me. People calling your house in the middle of the night, and then the mods' response is to post my name on the board? Then you post it later on because you're upset at me?

That's cowardly, IMO. Very.

I mean, I know you're very insecure, with the body building, talking about all of your chicks, posting photos of them, posting shirtless photos of yourself, talking about making $100k, but I really didn't put it all together until now.

Just so I have this straight, it's OK for you to bust my balls, but you're off-limits. Is that right?

I don't want to post your name. I don't do those things. That's your shtick.

Oh, you poor victim you.

LOL

What, do you want to fight or something? LMAO!

And yes, you are a coward who hides behind a message board.

Making a Ben Davis reference isn't logic. It was unnecessary, and you did it because you were frustrated.

Hey, I've actually enjoyed debating you at times, but something's obvious bothering you the past week or two. Have fun flexing your quads with the rest of the funky bunch.

Zags, what did you add to this thread other than a shot at me over a post that I had already repeatedly explained?

Are you going to discuss the topic of the thread, or is the 'third monkey on the pile' thing your goal?

I figured OT was your goal, you were doing so well.

So..

Back..

I'm trying, man. Run BJM and I are discussing Oden's mindset. Ignore RR7's spams and MickZagger doing humanity a favor.

It's easy to see, looking back, at just how dark a place Oden must have been after his patella exploded.

Shit, the dude had missed his entire rookie year and the "bust" tag was starting to linger. And he was just coming into his own when he went down that dark December night... That's gotta be tough. He never struck me as mentally strong, anyway, but that had to have pushed him over the edge.

The Blazers babied him during his short stay in the NBA.

Does anyone remember that Oden was given the private bedroom on the team plane? That's never happened before.

Forgot about that one. Think of how the other players viewed it. I also remember a story about how Roy, LMA, and Oden were in LA for a commercial, and that's when Roy and LMA bonded. They laughed afterward about how Oden basically spent 12 hours in a bedroom of the trailer sleeping.

Forgot about that. In the article today, he made it sound like the vets weren't there for him to show him the ropes. He always seemed so disinterested. Maybe he needed someone to tell him to get his ass in check.

Aside from everything he said here, his body was too fragile to be a professional athlete. So it wouldn't matter if he "did everything right".

I've wondered if one of the reasons KP was fired was for drafting Oden over Durant. Allen mentioned about the GM needing to have a "golden gut". This blunder really set our franchise back.

Isn't it interesting how things are perceived? Whenever I am in Indy, we are in a fancy hotel downtown and I never see any black people............ and I live in NE Portland and half the people I see are black. Didn't realize how white P-Town was until after HS and lived in SE Portland for 8 years. Only time I have lived outside my neighborhood.

Larry Miller issues some spin

"It’s easy to second guess all that factors into Greg Oden's career, but one thing we're certain of is that we took great care of Greg and always put his health and well being first. We were exceedingly patient and cautious with his return to the court in order that he would ultimately become the player we all dreamed he could be.

"Unfortunately, things didn't turn out the way anyone would have liked, but we all have to turn the page now and move on.

"We love Greg and always will. He's an outstanding young man and we wish him nothing but the best for the future."

My favorite thing in the Greg interview was what he said about the sexting thing:

"When a girl sends me 100 pictures, I have to send something back every now and then. I'm not an asshole."

Chivalry is not dead!

When a black person is near you, 100% of what they can see is white.

I'm curious (but lazy) what % of Flint, MI is black?

I do think these uber-hyped basketball prospects who are sought after, handled, and manipulated from middle school until they reach the NBA (and beyond) are often a little bit off. They do well making it appear as though they're pretty normal but how could they really be? When you're a target for hangers-on and people put pressure on you to be a great basketball player and earn a bunch of money at such a young age how could it not have an effect on you? Have any teammates besides Fisher ever liked playing with Kobe or even hung out with him outside of practice? There were some pretty ridiculous articles about LeBron and life amongst his entourage of yes men during/after that 2010 offseason. Dwight Howard seems to have been outed as being just as egotistical as any of them.

Like I said, I don't think he had mental issues coming into the league, but he could be another one of these guys who interprets the world totally different even from fellow NBA players. It may have contributed to how badly he's coped with his misfortune. I think most agree that hes mentally broken at this point though.

Rasta with the POD (post of the day). Was long thinking but never posted it. I was like, "You said it to protect what you got with the ladies, ho!"

+1. It's how I feel about a lot of these young dudes nowadays. Repped fo' sho'.

Cause I don't want my kids being minorities in their school or their neighborhood. My next door neighbors are black, and I love them to death, but I wouldn't want to be the only white person on my street. just like he has told me he is glad he isn't the only black person on the street.

That's really lame, MM. Loving your black neighbors doesn't absolve you of your racism. That's always an excuse people use. I'm not racist because I love certain black people. MLK JR dreamed of a day race wouldn't matter and here it is 2012 and you're as racist as ever.

What's wrong with being a minority?

And what does your neighbors being black have to do with you loving them?

Exactly.

Nothing wrong with it. However, given the choice, I would prefer not to be

Just pointing out that I have nothing against black people just because I don't want the majority of my kids school to be black people. It's a choice, and like most poeple, I am more comfortable around people I identify with the most

How completely racist. You're discriminating against black people by making a blanket statement that you don't identify with them because of your color. And you're making that statement to your child. If I was raising a white or black child, I personally would be glad to see them in an environment where people were different than him. Good training early on to not judge people by their color.

On that note, I'm becoming a certified foster parent with the intention of adopting and we have actually requested a black child because almost everyone wants white children and they are in short supply. The majority also wants girls so we have asked for a boy.

Yes, MM, you have the right to make any choice you want, but I personally think it's a bad lesson to teach your child that he is better off in situations where he is the majority. That's what I think.

One more thing, why is it only race that determines minority or majority? If more than 50% of the school are boys than that puts your boy in the majority. If your son enjoys the same things as his fellow students, he will be in the majority on that issue. I mean, a white boy in a white school could love classical music and pottery and be in the minority on that and "not identify with anyone else.". You are making race the deciding factor of minority or majority. If your son, is straight, he's in the majority. If he's gay, he'll be in the minority no matter where he goes. Think about what I'm saying,

I ain't a doctor...but there is no fuckin way your body can properly heal if you are a self-admitted alcoholic and drunk all the time. He has no one to blame but himself. And he should blame himself. The medical staff thing is blown out of proportion. The kid just had no one around to help guide his life.

It makes you wonder if his second MF was a drunken, self-inflicted injury -- as in, a drunken fall?

They should've done a BAC analysis on his dog post-mortem.

you are all tards. oden is a millionaire. i feel sorry for a guy that didn't take himself seriously. oden did and made millions

Can we please get back to the important topic, which is PapaG trying to pick fights and then playing the victim card, while everybody else points and giggles at him?
