Perhaps you should take medication for your explosive diarrhea

Old fisherman was saying he should have flipped him off, with both hands. I understand this isn't what bodyman did, and I'm proud of him for that cause some people would have...So I think this is a situation where both are right and wrong. @Fonzthecpt1, he never said he flipped the person off, that was your addition but he just said he didn't wave back and looked at the BMW in disgust. I get that, if you were having a relaxing time gardening or whatever and someone rolled by with loud music, it would annoy you, wouldn't it? On the other hand Bodyman, it is true that you would most likely be a happier person if you didn't let simple things like this get under your skin. It's just someone who wasn't being curious, but maybe he didn't realize how loud he was, or just wasn't thinking about that at the time. Perhaps he just turned it up because he got to his favorite lyrics or beat, and that just brought him intense joy. Sometimes people just don't contemplate the bigger picture. No, you aren't racist for being annoyed at this, but you might be better off letting little things like this not piss you off in the first place. Of course, time of day matters here. But you posted this in the middle of the day on a weekend, not 2am on a Thursday. 2am on a Thursday would make me livid, 2 pm on the weekend would be inconsequential to me.
Haha, keep Portland weird!I played some traditional celtic music the other night while a buddy and i sipped some beer. We got some funny looks by passers by but i dont care i love me some celtic pipes flute and fiddle. And by night i mean like 5 pm.

It would definitely annoy me. I was annoyed to hear my neighbors bass at 3 am Saturday morning(not super loud but could still hear it, it was like they turned it low enough to where they thought nobody would be able to hear it). Similar situation, HOA neighborhood. I thought about calling the cops but I have a strong feeling this dude is going through some ish in his life right now so I ignored it and fell asleep.
You sure are right about not contemplating the bigger picture. Sounds like I'm guilty of that here, and I always welcome a chance to learn and grow. Sounds like this man has a history of rude and endangering behavior, something I didn't consider. It would be hard for me to wave at anybody who puts kids lives at risk, and I too would have stared so that I could have been aware of the surroundings. Still don't think it warrants flipping him off even if he is a sack of manure.
I was just outside washing my car. I hear some godawful bass coming from down the street. I wait a minute and the source comes rolling by. A newer BMW, I stare at it with a look of disgust. As it rolls by he waves at me and I see it's a black guy and maybe a hispanic woman. Couldn't really tell.
Anyway, I don't wave back. I don't care what color you are but if you don't have the courtesy to leave your godawful thump crap music off for 3 minutes while you enter/exit your neighborhood YOU ARE A PIECE OF SHIT.
I'd have done the same if some rich redneck with a big @$! lifted truck was thumping some country junk so I know I'm not racist.
I've got two subs in my theater room and I played the boomiest parts of Mad Max with the bass louder than I like while I stood outside and listened for it. I couldn't hear it, if I could have I'd have kept turning it down.
You need a Hitler drum jamExcept im in south carolina. Ill always be a weirdo from oregon thoHaha, keep Portland weird!
You can really damage your hearing listening to music that loud. I honestly don't think they really want to listen to their music that loud, they for some reason want the attention it brings.
Just turn it down at the gas station too would ya? If you don't that is.So I have a "boomin' system" in my ride. I sometimes don't realize how loud it is, when I'm out and about. But I do turn it down in MY neighborhood. Don't want to scare some of my neighbors with my gansta' ass beats.
Mrs HCP will say, "I heard you bumpin when you came up the driveway. You DO realize you aren't 22 anymore right?"
Then when she borrows my ride to go to the gym, I love it. I hop in my car and the volume is SUPER loud. HA!
The only thing that bugs me around my hood is when people drive fast down our street when the little kids are out playing. I've stepped out in front of cars to let them know that shit isn't working around here.
If my windows are down, it's not loud. I only turn it up with my windows up.Just turn it down at the gas station too would ya? If you don't that is.
So

I was thinking GOOD but you'll go to jail, then I saw when.We had that same problem with a loud music fast driving idiot. One very irate dad took action.
First the dad tried to talk to the fast driver, but the asshole only laughed and drove faster through the kids. Our street is a popular playground for local young kids because it is a dead end street. The fast driver was renting a home on the end of the dead end. He endangered the kids lives daily.
Finally the irate dad had enough and waited for the fast driver. The dad threw a brick through the fast driver’s windshield. The driver tucked tail and ran for home.
The dad called the police on himself. He gave a statement as to what he did, and why. The police went to the end of the street to the fast driver’s house, found his car with the busted windshield. Then the police talked to the fast driver.
End of story. The police took the fast driver to jail. He had a ton of outstanding warrants.
The police came back and thanked the dad for his help.
That was 3 decades ago, when good olde boy justice was the norm. Today, the dad would be the one that went to jail.
Times have changed, the bad guys and assholes now have all of the protection, and good family folks suffer for it.
