I'm tired of hearing about how LeBron wants to play with Dame!!!!!!!

Since Damian is the better player of the 2, I'd think his opinion would be the only one to matter.

Which is more attractive to a potential buyer:

1) Having a star player like Dame who is beloved by the city.

2) Having a bunch of cheap contracts of guys who haven't shown much in the NBA yet like Ingram and having to deal with Lavar Ball?

if a potential NBA owner is wanting a bunch of "cheap contracts", they're not actually NBA owner material

Id be so done with the nba if any of this dame for lonzo crap happened. Thankfully it wont.

Here's the thing that might help you, KS... they talk about how bad they want him traded to the lakers... however, none of them have said WHY Portland would do it. What benefit it would give our team. Because there is none. There's no reason.

Lillard will not be traded to the Lakers, or any team. Let them talk.
With Paul gone, what loyalty does the new owner have? None. Basketball acumen? None. What's the new owners only interest in the team? Money. Anything can happen at this point

They dont even have a new owner yet... Maybe wait until they’re sold to decide what their loyalties look like.

It's just like when the Rockets got their new owners last year, they immediately traded James Harden.

I'm not as worried about some future hypothetical owner. I'm talking about current ownership. But either way, anything is possible. The security blanket has been taken and burned. Besides, your snide sarcasm is a false equivalence. I know you man. You're better than that.

no I'm not.

Welcome to sports media and top notch journalism these days. Some prominent figure in the industry like Bill Simmons talks about it. Zach Lowe throws out some idea of it and now you have everybody talking about it as if it's actually a thing. It's just not. It's nonsense. People are only talking about it because it gets clicks and they assume Portland will be mediocre this year resulting in Dame requesting a trade. I agree on mediocre but I don't think there will be an issue with Dame as long as we are consistently making the playoffs and making moves next summer.
