Trump's always been damaged goods. This impeachment did nothing to him other than convince his supporters that the dems have always been trying to get him out, no matter what.

I disagree...he's even more "damaged" than before...the "I was impeached" sign will eternally follow him and IMO, will cost him in November because I don't think the independents will go his way.

But more importantly, the one thing that is not being discussed is what the House and Senate will look like after November.

I'm pretty sure you're incredibly worse off than you were 4 years ago and that Trump's policies are killing you slowly.....or not so much Sorry for your loss.

Are you feigning sarcasm?...because I don't know why you would assume such a thing.

I, for one, am not duped by Trump's sleight of hand economic gymnastics and policies...if you are, shame on you.[/QUOTE]

I should run a betting pool on how soon trump tweets something very derogatory towards Romney.
I'll take some of that action. Trump is probably blowing fuses in his pretty, little head right now trying to think of nasty things to say about Romney.

I think the Senate just might swing the Democrats' way. Then, the Democrats will probably hang on to it as far as the eye can see.

same with Bill Clinton. Big fucking deal, no one gives a fuck but you.

The bar to impeach has been lowered.

In the next 100 years, I imagine 1/3 of the future Presidents will be impeached as it will be used a political strategy.
Your first statement is undeniably true.
The rest of your statements are undeniably false. We do "give a fuck" and the bar has not been lowered one tiny bit. We are not a banana republic.

His slight of hand economics has not adversely affected my bottom line, I'll tell ya that.

For the record, when I moved to Tennessee 3 years ago, I had recently quit my job, then completely reinvented myself (career-wise) here. It can be done.

I have absolutely no need to reinvent myself.

And Trump's "sleight of hand" is just that..smoke and mirrors.

Neat story.

The economy has been on the rise ever since 2010 and Obama.

Laura Ingraham calls on Mitt Romney to resign, says she 'may consider' opposing him in 4 and a half years
By Victor Garcia | Fox News
Ingraham: Petty Nancy and priggish Mitt

Trump exposing frauds on both the left and the right.

Laura Ingraham took aim at House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for her demeanor during the State of the Union address and eventually tearing up President Trump's speech as he concluded before she focused on Utah Senator Mitt Romney who was the only Republican to vote guilty along with Democrats at the Senate impeachment trial.

"Last night, [Pelosi] showed the world who she really is," Ingraham said on "The Ingraham Angle" Wednesday. "A woman left with little else, but her own sour puss, facial expression and a paper ripping stunt. She let her anger get the best of her, and her white suit didn't make her look any more angelic. It was the color of surrender."

ROMNEY THE ONLY SENATOR TO DEFECT FROM PARTY IN IMPEACHMENT VOTE

Ingraham then called Romney "the ultimate selfish, preening, self-centered politician."

"If he were up for reelection this year, the people of Utah would have their own payback against him because they were defrauded by Romney. For when he had to choose, he chose [Charles] Schumer and Kamala [Harris] over common sense and conservatism," Ingraham said. "If you're one of Romney's constituents in Utah, you're out of luck. If you're a business in need of a regulation reexamined, don't bother calling his office. He has no power anymore."

Ingraham brought up Romney's previous presidential runs saying, "we thought you'd be better for America and the way you repay millions of people, the millions who did vote for you in 2012 is to throw in with the very people who don't share our goals, who hate us. And by the way, who still hate you."

"Like all the other bitter 'Never Trumpers', he'd rather see the entire American economy go down the drain than give Trump a victory," Ingraham said.

The host then called on Romney to resign from the Senate and said she's considering moving to Utah in four years to oppose him.

"Mitt, you made your stand. Now you should resign. You committed a fraud on the people of Utah, on the Republican Party, on the Constitution, and a thoroughly embarrassed yourself," Ingraham said. "If I have to move there to run against him in four and a half years, I will."

It's hard to think of a less effective threat than Ingraham threatening to run against Romney in Utah.

She should also threaten to run against Pelosi in San Francisco if Pelosi doesn't step down immediately.

Gutfeld on the acquittal

Democrats invented a new kind of crazy: Knowing the outcome of an event well in advance and still expecting a different result.

Impeachment is over, at least for now.

You've heard the definition of crazy before. It’s doing the same thing over and over again while expecting a different result. Well, Democrats invented a new kind of crazy: knowing the outcome of an event well in advance, and still expecting a different result.

That was impeachment, the worst-planned adventure since the Donner party. Democrats blew all their energy on a loser's bet, one that made the Iowa mess possible. Instead of wowing America, they fell flat on their faces because they were distracted.

I return to Greg's Rule: Republicans run things. Democrats ruin them. The difference is one letter. It stands for "impeachment."

So once again, the losers return to their hallucinations. The snakes on the wall? They're real – if you're Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif.

Now, Schiff says, President Trump could offer Alaska to the Russians "in exchange for support in the next election." Alternatively, Schiff said, Trump "could decide to move to Mar-a-Lago permanently and let Jared Kushner run the country."

So why cling to these crazy predictions? Because they don't exist. That means you can't disprove them. The response will always be, "You just wait." They're like imaginary mice, and Schiff's the crazy coot on the table screaming.

Those mad ravings had us waiting for a stock market crash, tyranny and world war under Trump. They were all paranoid nightmares that never came. Instead, all we got were stock market highs, trade deals, dead terrorists and jobs.

Since those successes were under Trump, the delusions only deepen. Without a real vision beyond anger, the Democrats cling to these mental phantoms.

Early on, we told Democrats impeachment was a dead fish. We said: Don't follow Adam! He's selling you drugs that only end in bad trips.

But did they listen? Nope. To them, bad drugs are better than no drugs. That’s why they'll be back in the lab coming up with a new paranoia pill.

But we know not to gulp them. Let Democrats have them all.

We saw it coming. But they had it coming.

Nancy Pelosi ‘pre-ripped’ pages of Trump’s SOTU speech, video shows

Nancy Pelosi ‘pre-ripped’ pages of Trump’s SOTU speech, video shows

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi apparently made tiny tears into her copy of President Trump’s State of the Union address — so that her speech-ripping moment could go off without a hitch.

As Trump introduced cancer-stricken radio host Rush Limbaugh — who received the Medal of Freedom during the speech — Pelosi could be seen grabbing the pages off the table.

Video shows her making what seemed to be a tearing motion and then placing the pages back on the table.

Photos of the sheets of paper show them face down on the table with small slits on the side, near where Pelosi would eventually rip them into pieces.

Vice President Mike Pence, who was seated next to the California Democrat, told “Fox & Friends” on Wednesday that it felt like she’d planned to rip the speech because “it felt like such an immediate moment.”

Pelosi’s office didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.

Nancy Pelosi’s State of the Union stunt may have broken the law, Rep. Matt Gaetz says

Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz filed an ethics complaint against Nancy Pelosi that said the House Speaker possibly violated numerous House rules — and maybe even broke the law — by tearing up a copy of President Trump’s State of the Union speech.

The Florida legislator sent a letter to the House Committee on Ethics requesting they open an investigation and shared the missive on Twitter.

Gaetz wrote that “Speaker Pelosi’s gesture was deeply offensive and appears to violate clauses 1 and 2 of House Rule XXIII,” which dictate the House’s official code of conduct.

“Her behaviour does not ‘reflect creditably on the House,’ nor does it follow “the spirit and the letter of the Rules of the House.”

Gaetz, in his letter, said Pelosi’s “unseemly behaviour certainly warrants censure.”

The lawmaker asked that after conducting the ethics probe, the committee make referrals to the Department of Justice “for further investigation and prosecution.”

Pelosi, Gaetz alleges in the letter, “appears to be in violation” of a law that prohibits willfully destroying paper or documents “filed or deposited” in public office.

“There is no question that Speaker Pelosi ‘mutilated, obliterated, or destroyed’ the copy of the President’s address provided to her at the beginning of the evening,” Gaetz wrote, quoting language from the law.

After Tuesday night’s State of the Union, Pelosi told reporters that she shredded the papers because it was “the courteous thing to do,” a point Gaetz mentions in his letter as evidence to her alleged wrongdoing.

Here's something to think about:
A majority of Senators expressed their beliefs that Trump did something wrong in his dealing with Ukraine. A few of them, all Republicans, only disagreed with the magnitude of the wrong doing.

Well, gee, I'm sure glad Trump didn't stomp on it, then.

People need to start giving a shit. That's the only way to get this orange POS out. If the general public only half pays attention to the news without realizing the implications, we are totally fucked.

It would be a help if a Democrat would run for president who could, you know, actually win.

They already screwed up by touting and nominating Hillary 4 years ago and now with the exception of Bloomberg, none of the other hopefuls give me a warm and fuzzy feeling of being able to stop Trump in November.
