And by the way....fuck Donald Trump with a ballot counting machine! The Senate GOP is complicit with the exeption of a handful of senators...you can say the emperor has clothes but we all know better! Trump is a disgrace to the country and the world...there's still a safe place here somewhere where you can gush over his combover but like I said...fuck that guy and the Ted Cruz he rode in on

Why does S2 edit me to nonsense. I actually said Scottsboro defendants. No idea what Scott's pro is.

I don’t think S2 has any editing function. Your phone or tablet...yeah, autocorrect is a nuisance at times.

Donald Trump destroyed the Republican majority in the House, Senate, and their control of the White House. The vote to turn a blind eye to the instigation of sedition, cop killing, and treason will forever haunt their party and lead to their collapse.
Remember this day.

Moscow Mitch now says Trump is guilty. He acknowledged everything the impeachment managers said and added he would have considered voting to convict if Trump was still in office. The ONLY reason the Senate trial was delayed was Moscow Mitch refused to call them back into session until the day before inauguration. Most presidents enter office with key cabinet members and other appointees already confirmed but McConnell wants to obstruct Biden just like he did with President Obama.

What have we learned from this? A narcistic, deranged, delusional President can call for an overthrow of the government on January 6 and walk away without consequences when he/she leaves office even if an impeachment procedure was initiated.

Here is a suggestion Congress should think of. IMO
The electoral vote should be within the week after States verified their results. January 6 is way to close to the transition date of the 20th.

If impeachment proceedings occur, both the house and the senate should act in the same week.
As we had seen, delaying the senate's involvement into the impeachment process well after the former president left office, indicated that the process was not within the Constitution's framework as the insurrectionist was no longer in office. In some way, that situation appeared to be Republican Senate complicity in this event.

There should be an amendment that addresses insurrection by any former Commander in Chief, Vice President, Senator or Congressman after he/she is in or had left office with a straight up vote not a percentage calculation. These are only my suggestions and I'm sure a few of you would like to offer your own.

agree, they should have acted faster before he left office.

The senate still would not have convicted him, even so. The Republicans would have used a different excuse.

I guess If Biden calls for an overthrow of the government (he'd never do that) then the Republicans can't say shit.

The GOP was threatening to call hundreds of witnesses over the summer riots and now Lindsay Graham wants to call for impeaching Kamala Harris....yeah..the GOP is dug in a mud pit of stubborn partisan bullshit and won't work for the country, only for the party line...fuck em all ..they knew they could drag this out in court for half of Joe's first term....the Dems weren't going to play that game. Lindsay Graham represents the worst of our legislative branch...he needs to go

Impeach her for what? Inciting the riots?(she didn't, but ok) He and 43 senators just said that was ok.

Not to mention the (D).

I think that's the secret that Trump has on old Linds, even tho everyone already know the secret and most of us don't give two shits.

Rumor is Lindsey Graham likes D, and lots of it. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but apparently he fears that open secret being known to everyone.

jinx!

There was no one like Trump, his dysfunctional family and his legion of GOP Congressional brood. The spew that they preach couldn't be compared to human souls like Dr. Jill and Joe Biden. I suppose that is what the Biden's' represent: family, humanity and decency.
On a side note: I was watching a You tube channel interviewing young Russian people about their views of America. Trump was mentioned. The majority of them said Americans are stupid; fat, talk to much, adore celebrities and eat fast food all the time.
