Fuck Odom. He's been about as useful as a piece of dog shit the last week or so for the Lakers. I actually think it helps the Lakers to not have his overrated ass out there.

Not really you need to stop Ariza as fast as possible to shut the idiot up period! You can check very quick and then hope that he isn't hurt to bad but after that you go after the idoit.

Maybe I'm crazy like that, but I think your own teammates always come first. Too bad Roy doesn't share my opinion:sigh:

Anyone with a shred of intelligence can recognize he was going after the ball. Ariza intended to go for the ball, too bad Rudy was unlucky in his landing. I'm hurt that you would even suggest Ariza was trying to hurt Rudy....speaks volumes about the kind of person you are.

Anyone with a shred of intelligence doesn't post the things in my signature.

Talk about projection.

He didn't have time to do anything before Roy the thug descended on him....after that, both he and Roy were too busy shoving and yelling at each other.

Now that I think about it, all blazers went to Ariza instead checking up on Rudy, their own teammate....perhaps in some ways, they take after the JailBlazers after all.

"Roy the Thug"

Are you a troll, or do you just have some horrible, congenital brain defect? Fetal alcohol syndrome perhaps? Too many lead paint chips?

And people wonder why Blazer fans don't have any use for L*ker fans!

That's exactly my point. Even though you hate Odom, all of you blazer fans should be against him being suspended, because that hurts you just as much as it hurts the lakers. Just another case where some fans hate the Lakers more then they love the Blazers.

I am against him being suspended but a rule is a rule. The Blazer players didn't come on the court and why should Odom. I would rather he didn't come on the court but he did.

I'm just trying to convey to you how ridiculous some of you people sound.

No need to go into personal insults.

You realize that Toko is trying to provoke Blazers fans, right? It's up to you to be provoked or not. "Trash-talking" (that is, being mocking about sports teams and players) is allowed on S2, but you can ignore him if you don't think he adds to the discussion. Personally, I think fighting with him is silly...he's purposely taking mocking, dismissive and extreme views to rile people up, so it's not like you're going to wither him with the force of your logic.

I really like the ignore feature. I keep forgetting about it. Also love this part of his profile: "Toko has not made any friends yet"

And yes, I realize mine probably says the same thing. That's besides the point.

Eh, it increases your post count. Consider it my contribution to the good of S2.

How does the ignore feature work? Do I click on his profile?

That brings up another point. Many Blazer fans wanted Odom to be suspended....which really lowers our chances of beating Houston, something you should dearly desire. This is another case where some fans hate the Lakers more than they love their own team.

Well, again, if you go back to some of my posts I didn't want anyone to get suspended but if one thing is clear in this league it's the leaving the bench rule. They apply that rule pretty consistently. Honestly did that suspension really surprise you? I'm not being sarcastic in asking that.

And it was the Blazers that ended up with the majority of the technical fouls after the "skirmish", it sucks but I think the referees had to do that to regain control of the game. And the first play after the game was restarted they called a travel on LaMarcus, it was a legitimate call but I was ready to punch the TV.

You mean like the one fan saying Kobe did that on purpose because he wanted all the spot light to himself? that kind of gloating?

So I out of 100+ Portland posters. What percentage of the posters is that? (I will wait, I know it might take you a little while) How does that percentage compare to Lakers posters? And you don't even link it.

Did you bother to look for counter views?

the suspension was well deserved. My point is that no blazer fan should want it anyway, because it hurts you just as much, if not more, than it hurts the Lakers.

Again, Ariza had no time to do anything after he landed because Roy was on him. Maybe if Roy was not such a shitty teammate that he didn't even check Rudy, Ariza would have done so instead.

That's an interesting story. Fiction is fun!

So Blazer fans should be against NBA rules when it benefits the Blazers? I guess I'm just not that big of a homer.

Never did I say it was the majority, though without counting, I think it was a vocal group of fans. This threads point was to admit that all fans have some kind of a bias, and that realistically, if the tables were reversed, blazer fans would be acting the same(or very similar) to how Lakers fans are.

You could disagree or agree with the rules, the point is what you should be wishing to happen.

That's a nice little strawman you've constructed. Perhaps you should stick to insulting players taken to the hospital by D-bag Ariza. It's in your wheelhouse.

I don't give a s**t about Lamar Odom, one way or another. Break the rules; sit on bench. Pretty cut and dry.

We're all familiar with trolls and their sad pathology.

As for riling me, he has yet to raise my pulse above 54. I just enjoy someone willingly demonstrating how little they really know about the subject at hand.

If we keep winning it doesn't hurt us (the Suns are 7 games behind us in the loss column), we're just using you for play off position. :devilwink:

Actually, you've been shown that case wouldn't be true.

And the Blazer fans you're talking to right here and right now would respectfully disagree that we would act the same.

Okay, with regards to my "brittle bones" comment.

Of course I didn't mean that. I just wanted to give some blazers fans a taste of their own medicine. You know, the ones going on about how Ariza should be put down and how much of a dirty player he is, scum, low-life, thug etc.

Do I really need to start digging for the various comments made by blazer fans in the heat of the moment to put it in a better perspective?

Well, that was a dirty play. Afterward, he refused to show remorse. It's obvious to anyone that with the game already lost, he was going to take cheap shots. That speaks volumes about his character. Then again, when your team captain is a rapist, it's hard to find quality role models on the L*kers.

A vocal group of fans posted that Kobe Bryant took out Bynum to get more attention for himself?

This threads point was to admit that all fans have some kind of a bias,

You're in the wrong place. You need to be sitting with Obama trying to solve the economic crisis. I mean, what sort of off-the-charts intellect does it take to figure out that one may find bias on a team board?

and that realistically, if the tables were reversed, blazer fans would be acting the same(or very similar) to how Lakers fans are.

First, as I explained, I really don't think the Blazers bring the same level of douchiness as the Lakers do, so it wouldn't happen. If a hard foul did happen, I imagine you'd see a Farmar-like reaction of concern, and not an Ariza-like reaction of prancing, preening, and yelling.

Also, I wouldn't be visiting the Laker board anyway, so for me, your entire argument doesn't apply.
