You need to get out in the real world once in awhile. How many times a year do you think cops have to confront gun-wielding criminals intent on doing them harm? Cops deal with the worst offenders in the country on a daily basis, the same people you and I would never want to meet in a dark alley, a doorway, or in a gang. They put their lives on the line for people like you who have no clue about anything except some hogwash about cops that you saw on social media.

59 officers died in 2021.
Police killed 19.4 people for every officer who died.

…..we know nothing of diversity, I’m half Mexican, half Polish, raised around beautiful black people and my daughter is headed of to the #2 most diverse college campus in the country this fall…..

So what? You’re quoting statistics with no explanation, no background, no context. A lot of the people killed by cops were trying to kill THEM. Or were abusing a woman or a child. Or high on drugs. Or robbing a bank. Or dealing drugs. Or running in a gang. Cops confront violent and dangerous people on a daily basis, many of whom are drunk, high or mentally disturbed. And a lot of them are armed with a gun or a knife or some other deadly instrument. Cops stand between us and those people, walking into danger every day, allowing people like you to sit in your house behind a locked door and spout meaningless statistics on social media.

No, people on the left encouraged and supported the riots, destruction and mayhem that occurred in 2020. Police were told to stand down and watch as rioters tore down statues, attacked federal courthouses and looted department stores. Some leftist politicians offered to pay bail for the rioters, and treated them like heroes. Leftist politicians since then have lightened the sentence for many crimes, or reduced felonies to misdemeanors. It’s one of the reasons why crimes like murder, rape and burglary are up across the country, and why more minorities are dying all the time in our inner cities.
 
Can Bingo cite actual crime statistics? Or actual police killing statistics?

George Floyd was unarmed.

Funny. Trump supporters will excuse any and all of his illegal conduct, praise January 6 insurrection, applaud his calls for violence and even World War III but taking down statues of confederate traitors? Oh no!

Around 30% of the people police murder are running away from the police, shot in the back as they fled. That's 345 people, or 5.84 people murdered while fleeing for every officer killed in 2021.

A gentle reminder that being murdered by a police officer is not due process.
I don't care how many people attack police officers; none of them deserve an execution without a trial first.

1st our all, boy did you join this site a year or so too late. There were a couple here just like you, but they’re gone now. And 2nd…..since when did a person like you ever give a fuck about minorities let alone them “dying in our inner cities”? You wanted to build the wall to keep them OUT remember?

What a silly argument. Every country has to protect its borders, or it ceases to be a country. Even our progressive friends up in Canada have a very strict immigration system based on merit. If immigrants of all stripes want to come here legally (as about a million do every year), that’s fine with me. I welcome them with open arms. The only thing I would tell them is to stay away from our big cities, most of which are crime-ridden shit holes that have been driven into the ground by misguided Democrat policies.

We need a better system to expedite getting immigrants in legally so they don't come illegally. If they know it's a quick and fair process they will come through the door instead of across the desert.

Oh, so the only way you'd let them in is if they register as Republicans.

It’s not our job to create an immigration policy that suits the people who are coming here illegally. It’s their job to comply with our rules, just as everybody around the world does who wants to come here.
