Depends on how large you want them. They come in all sizes. The lady who runs the shop is really nice. Click on the link and check out the website. You can call her with any questions you have or shoot her an email. They also deliver and do mail order to pretty much anyplace.

nice. i might have to check it. i love speciality shops like that.

going back on Wednesday for the rest of the year.

any good Indian restaurants in Portland? Like awesome shit? In the cold weather spicy indian food is the bomb.

Also went to Filson. Awesome stuff there. Didn't buy but I wanted one of their jackets....don't need it though. but good quality stuff (I use a filson bag for travel). :sherlock:

Went to Pix Patiserre, they were out of Macaroons. :(

ate lunch/brunch at Tasty n' Sons on N. Williams...fuck that place is good. it was crowded as fuck. there was a line just to put your name down to get on the list to eat.

That whole block on N. Williams was really cool...nice vibe out there.

Today was one of those days that made me love Portland's vibe. Just going around the city, walking, hanging out...museums, shopping and eating/coffee.

Was pretty impressed with some of the mens clothes store...John Helmer had some cool walking canes and ok hats. I was surprised they carried Truefit and Hill shaving stuff, which is really good stuff. Finn in the Pearl, Michael Allen and Lizard Lounge were all great little stores for clothes. Browsed a bit and liked their stuff (don't really need clothes right now) but did pick up some cologne at Lizard Lounge. Pretty focused selection of stuff. Hit up the US Outdoor Store as well and REI...bought a waxed hat over at the Filson store. Stopped by the Timbers store too...kind of bare bones right now....but whatevz.

Had a fantastic "Le Pidgeon burger" over at Little Bird, which is owned by the Le Pidgeon guys (they apparantly only sell 5 of their burgers at Le Pidgeon per night but they serve them there all day). Probably the best burger I've had in Portland so far. Add to that some Stumptown and some time browsing the colored rooms at Powells, it was a great day in the Rose City!

Yeah, Williams St. is turning into the next Mississippi district type place. Bomb.com little diners.

Burger was really good. not best ever but solid top 5.

The cibatta was a good choice, the burger was impaled by a knife. When you cut it in half, the burger juices went everywhere. I should have moved it to another plate as you can see the bottom got a bit sloppy...the burger was sloppy...really strong mustard, fresh bread, good quality meat and seasoned perfectly. I did a "mmmmmmmm" when I bit into it for the first time. I'd return.

Portland is an awesome food town.

Stayed at the Hotel monaco last night (went drinking). GREAT hotel, the room we had was friggin huge. great decor and vibe too.

I agree. Portland is a great food town. Especially N. and N.E.

Best Burger in town, imo, is at the City State Dinner on NE 28th between Glisan and Burnside. Check it out.

Back in LA. sucks that I didn't have use of a car the whole week...made the best of it though. Loved the public transporte in Portland.

If you haven't been in a while, visit the Oregon Historical Museum. They're apparantly in some financial troubles, and they really had a nice museum. Wish Portland embraced more of its oregon trail heritage within the city itself.
