In any case you're wrong, the only region in the Sahel that contributed to the trans-atlantic slave trade was the S?n?gambia, and the figures are estimated at 5.8%, which is virtually insignificant when compared to the figures estimated to have come from the "gold coast" and "biafran coast". Saharan Africa (Mauritania, Morocco) on the other hand contributed nothing. North Africa is an improper contextual reference. Also you being largely bred of Nordic stock (Anglo-Celtic) as well as Dutch and French, makes me doubt any white North African is lighter than you. North Africans did not mix with South Africans. Blacks are indigenous to the Sahel, and have definitely been a presence in Africa's vast and beautiful Sahara.
