Exactly. And you don’t have to get real far into the article before the names of oil companies start dropping. Reading about the Iran coup is like reading a play-by-play for what’s going on in Venezuela right now. When a country is found to have large oil deposits we suddenly start caring about the plight of their people (never mind our sanctions is what’s causing that plight) and feel the need to share wonderful democracy with them by overthrowing their government and installing a leader of our choice.
