Btw.. any updates or news regarding current situation in Iran?
Is it being discussed? Do people care?
Last I heard reports noted around 5k to 20k protestors killed by the IRGC.
20k civilians proper. Not militants, not terrorists. Civilians - indescremently.
Any moral stance here is required?
Trump rattled a sabre threatening Iran if they killed more people after only 1000 or so had been killed...he has apparently forgotten where Iran is or what is happening. It's something I wish the United Nations would show some balls in dealing with. My understanding is that a huge percentage of Iran's population is under 30 years of age or thereabout. The old mullah's are quickly falling out of favor and dying out. It's horrible how many people they've killed. I'm upset here over the killing of one innocent woman protester..I can't imagine 20,000 to cope with.
To answer your question, this means we have entered phase 2 of the deal the was brokered in Oct 2025.
You can keep things simplified (a la "Leave Palestinians alone") or you can invest some time reading and learning as to what is actually going on.
Here is a nice article recommended for review on the topic:
President Trump and his envoy Steve Witkoff announced on January 14 and 15 the start of Phase II of the 20-point plan for stabilizing and rehabilitating the Gaza Strip, initiated by the president in October 2025 and approved as UN Security Council Resolution 2803 in November. They also declared...

Not sure what you guys are saying..
Phase 1 done. How did Gvilli return to Israel? Just out of Hamas good will?
Phase 1 done. Now Phase 2 is in motion. I am not making shit up. This is what is going on.. who cares or said anything about Trump?
This is the current reality of what is going on right now.

I understand Palestinians returned the remains. I'm the one who cares and cautioned you Trump cannot be trusted to stabilize anything. I've known that about Trump since the early 70s. You can also gauge the geopolitical landscape by seeing what's going on with our own domestic protests right now as well. We don't know each other but this is where we can have the dialogues. I can point fingers at atrocities right here in my homeland but I appreciate your perspective. How would I know if a Palestinian affiliated with Hamas acted in good will or not? I don't know the specifics of the exchange. Controversial topics should be fuel for knowledge that hopefully can inform those who aren't there.

Telling me accomplishes much more than asking why I don't know.
I Sure appreciate your input and views, and you always lead a good faith and calm discussions and that is so so important and I am happy to be able to share views and learn from you.
My original recent post was replying to phats about what I believe to be a 'simplfying' notion that now that all hostages are out Israel is 'leaving Palestinians alone'.
I wanted to make sure people can actually know what goes on right now. (By referring the deal phases).
Your reply suprised me because I have not mentioned Trump nor said anything about if he should be trusted or not. To my own POV - I don't mind it be Trump or Biden or whoever. I was referring that the reality is the deal is progressing - phases are being completed and a lot of pressure is set upon both Israel and Palesinian factions. Thats that..
Hope this clarifies my comment..
And yeah - as someone not living in the U.S - my intrests are in fact different from someone who does - so I mind less as to what a certain leader means to their own people. Is Trump someone I would vote for? Hell no. Are his actual actions promote Israeli interests IMO? Yes. On more occasions than Bidens actions.
Am I aware he can sell Israel in heart beat for his personal gains? Hell yeah.. I know the players.. and we are playing the game..

A good example for Media mind controling and using it to promote a narrative while ignoring or supressing factual information..
1. The Embassy statement was issued January 13th.
2. The twitting post explodes now adjacent to Epstein files developments.
Relation between the two? Everything Beagle can make sense of that - as intended by the media. Not as a critical thinker who understands the global situation as an expert.
The prime minister's former private security guard has shared details about the family, calling him 'not a moral person' who should be imprisoned for corruption and 'treason'
"Yair Netanyahu attacked his father, didn't show up for karate practice, and beat him up; there was an attack to such a level that they had to intervene in the incident," he added.
