We can admit that these comments are homophobic and homophobia's bad while not freaking out about it; it's possible that having been exposed to a wider world, they're a bit less narrow-minded. And, if not, this is why it's better to root for the laundry rather than the people, since people aren't necessarily awesome just because they're on the team you root for.

That said, no one's calling for jail time, so the bro patrol doesn't need to march out just yet to protest the PC agenda.

Harkless' weren't that bad. Young kids would call their friends that because they didn't know better. Even I did every now and then. But our generation is now aware of what it means and why its a bad thing to say, and I've noticed is not used anymore. So because he used it years ago while he was a kid shouldn't be used as ammo toward the person he is now.

1. Deleting those is the agents job. It's his job to protect and improve his client's image.

2. This is old. Those were posted before. We didn't care because Aminu and Harkless weren't Blazers.

I think Aminu might actually be a bit repressed after finally reading some of them. So over the top it sounds like a Republican going apeshit on the senate floor and picking up some dude in a public restroom later that night. You can't expect a 16 year old to always be a paragon of maturity and good judgement. Absent some evidence that the ADULT Harkless is a bigot, I am inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Aminu is a different case. I respect freedom of religion, but if he is really a practicing Moslem, having him on the team is likely to be problematic.
