Sly, you can edit the fuck you part without deleting my entire post. WHY ARE YOU CENSORING FACTS!?!?!? Sexist female entirely ignores the fact that Boko Haram killed boys, so to make a sexist assertion. I point this out and I get censored? Fuck this. I'm out. Crandc routinely makes sexist comments and is held to a lower standard. Fuck this bullshit.

I see you throwing personal insults around in two different threads and my only thought is to try and end it quickly before things turn ugly. You're a smart guy, I'm positive that you can address what Crandc said without insulting her. (Which you just did again, BTW.)

Am I the supposed "sexist female"? I was not listing all the crimes of Boko Haram. Just one well known case in Nigeria as I am sure everyone else realized.

I wonder if a certain poster ever used the word sexist to describe any male?

Sounds like an attempt to deflect attention by making this about " sexist females " rather than homophobic males.
 
Sly, women can't be sexist? I would describe her comments as sexist, therefore, CRANDC IS A SEXIST! She wears it on a sleave, yet we aren't allowed to call her out on it. Rich.

But you're not meaning it as a compliment and you're saying that certain members are so I'm treating that like an insult.

If you want to have a conversation about how both boys and girls were treated horribly by Boko Harem I have no problem with that and personally I think it's important to point out. What we don't need is you saying anyone besides me is full of shit around here or is a bigot or some of the other things you've posted.

Portland is regressive, not a bit progressive. Far more racist and economically divisive than at any other time in my 60+ years, and it has been consistently getting worse for the last 30 years or more. Used to be a friendly place where people of all walks of life were there for each other, live and let live, help a complete stranger in need, give a hitchhiker a lift, mow your elderly neighbors lawn, never lock your doors, smile and wave kind of town. Now it is a racist, violent hellhole with thousands of homeless people camping on streets, decaying infrastructure, filthy parks with needles and trash everywhere, human excrement in doorways, urine-soaked sidewalks, self-absorbed narcissists and politicians who want to write laws that regulate your diet, your opinions, your choice of employment, your loyalties, your political preferences, your very right to live. That is not progressive, at least not according to the Webster Dictionary.

Because I directly call her a sexist based on sexist comments it's wrong. But she can imply that I am sexist without any evidence whatsoever, but that's just fine. Fuck off SLY.

While I agree with some of your sentiment, they have the verified marker on their accounts, so unless it was shopped they probably really said those things.

Like I've said before, I edited your posts because of personal insults. Not because of sexism. If you want to respond to Crandc or anyone on here with something like, "I feel your post is sexist because..." that's fine. You're attacking the post, not the individual who posted it. I edited/deleted your posts because of things like, "You're a bigot." "You're full of shit." "Fuck off." You weren't attacking what someone posted, you were attacking them personally.

If you don't like what someone posted on here then please, by all means challenge that. But please do it without insult.

And please continue posting here, my edits were not meant to be personal, I'm just trying to promote discussion and debate.

All in the name of protecting children, of course. We know what a good job the government of Nigeria has done protecting their schoolgirls. It was not lesbians or transwomen who abducted those girls. The government can't do shit for them but it can try to kill gays.

Candidate Ted Cruz has among his leading advisers ministers who advocate kill the gays and Senator Cruz has spoken at rallies with them, rallies at which they have called for death penalty for homosexuality. Currently, Senator Cruz has pivoted more towards whipping up lynch mobs against transgender women, who already suffer very high rates of assault and murder. Apparently women transition for the sole purpose of raping little girls in public restrooms (although there are zero such incidents), just as gay men supposedly joined the military for the sole purpose of staring at straight soldiers in the shower.

Billy Bean (the gay ballplayer, not straight A's GM, talked about being a closeted athlete. His partner only saw him play once. He told his partner not to speak to anyone in the family section, but his partner, a friendly guy, chatted with another players' parents. Afterwards, the other player, quite innocently, told Bean "my folks really liked your friend". Bean was so terrified someone would figure out this was more than a friend that he told his boyfriend to never come to another game. On his birthday, his boyfriend, a professional chef, prepared a special dinner for him. They were just sitting down to eat together when several teammates came to his door, with cases of beer, to celebrate Bean's birthday. He hustled his boyfriend out the back, hid all the food in cabinets, and let them in. In baseball there is an unwritten law not to go home until all the beer is drunk. They hung around for hours, while the boyfriend hid on the back porch, the dinner he had worked so hard to make special ruined. When his boyfriend died, Bean did not go to the funeral, did not tell anyone a friend had died, because he was so terrified someone might learn he was more than a friend.

There are gay players in the NBA. By law of averages, there have to be. And they are hiding and living a lie because of attitudes and comments like this. Imagine, those of you who are married, having to pretend not to be, hide your wife, never refer to her, pretend to scorn her.

News flash for you! Roughly 50% of all boys, the smaller and frailer half, got beat up growing up. Fighting is a natural instinct in males of nearly all species and is learned by necessity through repetition. Extinction of the species is the alternative.

Big strong guys, gay or straight, don't get beat up for obvious reasons. The only openly gay friend I had growing up was about 6'2", maybe 230lbs, and went by the singular name of Flossie.

Nobody picked on Flossie.

As the smallest kid in class with a penchant for speaking out against bullies and being one of the very first "hippies" in town I got beat up dozens of times. In 10th grade I grew 9 inches and began studying karate.

Haven't been beat up since. I bear no ill will to my attackers as I am a better person having been faced with adversity and overcome it.

Recently I reconnected with some of these former childhood bullies and they are just regular people like you and me. Because fighting is part of growing up, and a necessary part of the educational curriculum of real life.

Comparing the braggadocio and fisticuffs of children or teens to the sociopathic slaughters by an African warlord and his sadistic henchmen is irresponsible and incorrect.
