The poor still account for taxes bro. It maybe negative taxes, but it is still accounted for.See my fire dept post above. I'm getting the benefit whether or not taxes are paid by me. People who are living at the poverty level are protected by fire, police, ambulances ect. You're God Reagan made it so that hospitals can't turn away people in emergency situations regardless of ability to pay. Remember?
Poor people don't pay taxes. So where's their contract?
No... Racism doesn't exist at all when it comes to hiring black folk. There's no possible way that could happen.. It's all in our minds....
Well I know race is involved, I have had plenty of experience with it. I served as a campus recruiter for 3 or 4 year for a few weeks each spring. I remember one year, my marching orders were to put the candidates on the possible hire list in this priority;
Black kids if they have a grade point average of 3.1 or better. I found a few that had the GPA but none that wanted participate in an interview with a hiring manager. One young fellow from Stanford with a GPA of 3.3 actually chuckled at the starting salary and ask why I thought he should want to work for that chump change.
White and Asian kids only if they have grade point average of 3.7 or better. I found none that would consider working for my company with that high of GPA, but plenty in the 3.2 to 3.3 range.
I had projects with a need for about 60 new hires (or available people) but I was unable to hire anyone with such racist guidelines. I changed tactics, and sent a Black lady manager that worked for me, to a couple schools, just in case I was the objectionable impediment, But, she had about the same experience. I had to cancel two project because they could not be staffed. Race surely was in the way, a dreadful obstruction to success.
I can't believe I'm still following this thread. You guys are crazy.

Your small sample size isn't indicative of the whole issue

I tried, I failed, I gave up
Really! And what do you have to backup your whine? Am I still cracking you up?
I would rather hire a white hart woman in a sexy skirt than a black male. But really, who wouldn't?!?!Black unemployment is where it is and you somehow want to blame it on us. You still want to act like racism doesn't exist... You're part of the problem...

WIN!Institutional racism is a bitch to root out and kill. It's just everywhere and embedded in government and regulations over a century of Jim Crow and beyond.
I was happy Obama was elected, but I was disappointed he didn't hire an all black staff. The best affirmative action isn't done by law, but by black leaders training more black leaders.
The world doesn't need higher minimum wage jobs, it needs more CEOs - the wages will take care of themselves.

Not everyone can be a CEO. Workers need to live too. The more they make the Better our consumer driven economy is. It's the reason Ford paid his employees 5x the prevailing wage.
You're probably the only White male that's ever made that statement. Imagine the Tea Party craziness that would've happened if he did that.

Groan! Geez we can't take much more of this goodness.I was happy Obama was elected
No I did not. But I would blame the hell out of the President and his policies and not because he is Black, because he is very anti businessBlack unemployment is where it is and you somehow want to blame it on us

Those are capitalist definitions. Communism is the belief: "There should not be rich people."
Socialism: "The management class shold be a meritocracy, paid not much more (maybe 20%) than the working class."
Working class: "those who sweat, are out of breath much of the day, and push their bodies to the limit, for a living, dying younger"
Capitalism is the belief: "Most leaders should be born into the management class, else laziness will dominate. A pure meritocracy is not sustainable without a special class to crack the whip."
