Is Chauncey Billups ruining the franchise?

Chauncey seems much more likable in interviews. I am still baffled by his rotations.

I loved this interview, and really appreciate Chauncey and the work he's doing with this team. Making the young guys earn their minutes and getting everyone playing together as a team. Remove the challenges of trade value, and playing time, it will be fund to see where he takes them.

I could not be a bigger fan of Lamar Hurd. Authentic guy who knows his shit.

Benching Scoot and Sharpe just as their confidence was growing is criminal

His benching of Sharpe because of defense, but leaving Ant alone is hypocrisy

The young players aren’t developing

I have never wanted a coach gone more, than him

Nah.....the difference is, Sharpe can handle the adversity (according to Chauncey) and is willing to take ownership and learn from the benching - and hopefully it'll help him improve.

Simons isn't benched because we're trying to showcase him for trade value. End of story. He's a lost cause defensively, so what's the point in trying to use the same motivation?

Scoot is playing his best basketball as a Trail Blazer. Billups also benched him in favor of Simons. What's the reason for that?

Chauncey on a winning streak instills a lot more confidence in me as far as his coaching ability. I'm seeing him bench guys who don't play both sides of the floor more often. To develop guys, you have to hold them accountable...he's done that with the roster this season. Seeing Scoot round into an effective pt guard tells me Chauncey had an impact on his development. I still think he needs a better playbook and endgame plan most nights. He's got everybody scrappin'

When will Scoot be back in the starting lineup? How long are you happy with it? I think it's stupid. Scoot should be gaining chemistry with the other starters.

Scoot has just recently started clicking...he wasn't ready earlier and they are trying to sell high on Ant I'd assume who also started the season with a bunch of clunkers. Scoot is playing really well over the last handful of games but really, he wasn't before that at all. It's worked out in our favor in the end.

...close to the same reason. Benching Simons would hurt his value.
