Is everyone as excited as me about the Internet return of "All My Children"?

Actors and writers are being signed. Moving a popular 40 year old show to the Internet is an historical event. It will launch TOLN (The OnLine Network). I've missed this show for the last year so I hope this really happens.

I thought this was "Married with Children". If it were MWC, I'd be ecstatic. Alas, since its not, I'm not excited.

AMC without Susan Lucci would be like The Who without PeteTownsend.

Are you auditioning for it? How is the pilot season going?

Married With Children is in my top 5 favorites of all time. When they start producing new ones, I want KingSpeed to play Buck. I mean Bud.

sounds kind of weird. they are licensing the name and charachters i presume and hiring low budget actors and writers to attempt to make a web series out of it? not sure if it will work, maybe it will but its a lot of damned work to do for low advertising dollars. there would have to be a shitload of product placement in it.

Soap opera programs are cheap to make. Maybe some ads will make them a small profit.

I'm having a hard time imagining any scenario where this show is watchable.

Ok, so is there anyone here that actually followed All My Children?
