Yes, Iggy was out. BUT, we lost Wes Matthews and Mo Williams down 8 in the third quarter. We were in Golden State where we hardly ever win. We were on the second game of a back to back, coming off a game in which we had to expend a lot of energy to come back from 21 down. And then we DOMINATED the game, outscoring the Warriors by 20 the rest of the way. How fucking incredible is that? And then I hear people who have every right to their opinion say that we'll only win 45-46 games at best this season. I don't get it. People say our schedule has been easy, but most of our games have been on the road, we've had FOUR back to back sets (all of which we've won), and we won in Denver (who is on the rise) and the aforementioned Golde State. And oh yeah, we beat the only team ahead of us in the west standings.
I think the playoffs will be tough (for every team) because it's a very deep conference and short of Mo (who is important for this reason), we don't have a lot of experience. But to write off how we are playing now because we might not win the championship is silly to me. We are playing the best basketball this team has played in years. I beg of you. Please enjoy it. This doesn't happen very often.
