Anyone notice how MIXUM hasn't been heard from lately?
Of course not. We've been winning.

So you basically just proved me right, and told me that I have no right to post in the Blazers forum unless I plan on kissing Brandon Roy's ass. Thanks for that.
Point is, we don't all feel that way. I certainly don't. Ignore the posters who won't talk to you reasonably and discuss with those who will.
All I wanted to point out that the lakers recently have been in the press lately about being suspended. Then it became personal attacks on each persons ethics on their team and trash talking. Can we figure out why the Lakers keep on being in the news for flagrant fouls? I merely posted the thread (http://www.sportstwo.com/forums/showthread.php?t=137476) about incidents on Lakers being in trouble not personal attacks. Can all moderators and other fans grow up a little and stop having threads closed/locked.
it is absolutely laughable that you blame what happened at bbf on "trolling laker moderators".
Does anyone have educated worthwhile analysis on the Lakers behavior on drawing these types of fouls. I'm getting tired of the team bashing. Why can't the Lakers organization take in the fact that their players are being viewed by the NBA for their actions and being suspended. Use your brains peeps and stop bashing one another like HS teenagers. Use your noogin.

Weird how I was responding as myself, not everyone. Obviously my posts represent my and only my opinion.
What's your problem with the OT threads here anyway? It's already been established that I (though a few others seem to agree with me) feel that a forum belongs to its posters. If we want to talk about Jason Kidd on our forum, what's it to you?
and could you tell me why I would give a flying fuck? I've already written it several times, but I really don't give a crap about the other forums. Why would I? If, say, I want to discuss a trade proposal on another team's forum (which has happened), I'd just google "Bobcats forum" and find one. Problem solved. Again, do you only want to bring in more posters because you're already a mod here or what?
I will try discussing other teams on their related boards though to assist in this increase activity suggestion, however.
wow, that's clever. and if you are of the opinion that trolling laker moderators caused the problems at bbf, you're delusional.Opinions vary. BTW, how does Basel's ass taste?
You're missing the point obviously but this site already went through this with Nets fans. When a search result from s2 shows up in a google search, they click on it and it'll go to the Blazer forum rather than S2's Bobcat, why would a Bobcats' fan be enthused to join a site if he sees a Blazer forum logo on top the thread? And No, I don't want to bring more posters here b/c I'm a mod, I want the site to be active. The old site, JBB, got merged with S2 and the whole forum was active. It was like a community of everyone, not just 1 forum, and it made the whole experience of posting fun. It gave you a perspective of everyone's view, but ever since we've come here, everyone is biased/stuck up and only care about their own forum rather than the whole site. So sorry for trying to help the site more enjoyable for everyone.
See, I agree with you 100%, but you lose me where you start to say "purple and piss".
What's the point of trying to get your point across when you are antagonizing them at the same time? If you want them to STFU, wouldn't the best way would to be respectful of their team as well?
Today, I'm a little beat from having to deal with flare-ups.
I'm actually with JE on this one, because I've rarely had pleasant experiences when I come in here. It seems whenever I voice an anti-Blazer opinion, I get jumped on and attacked until I leave. It's why I rarely step foot in this forum. I'd love to be able to join in on the conversations and debates here, but I constantly feel like my opinion is not wanted at all based on my past experiences.
Its not like the 32 teams have 2 players (odom, Kobe) within 4 years to be suspended. I am merely revealing an observation regarding one club (Lakers), having 4 incidents within a 4 year period. I am not trying to single out those two players but I think its important to everyone that do the Lakers really want this type of pubilc press upon their organization? So you can conclude a "type of behavior" from a sample of 4 fouls?
Not true. If you present yourself as a "neutral" fan instead of a huge homer of a different team, or at least appear neutral, then you can post where ever you like. The problem is when we get people who say I wish Roy would have been the guy who got hurt, Rudy flopped like Paul Pierce, etc. Not only do you look like a douchebag when you say that, but you also lose all credibility and you come across as a troll.
Don't be a dick, don't act like a Laker homer (or any other team for that matter), and be reasonable. You do those and I promise I will have no beef with you...

That's funny, I've rarely had pleasant experiences when you lot have come in here. There's obviously some thick-skinned exceptions, but in general it doesn't work out well. So what are you doing here?I'm actually with JE on this one, because I've rarely had pleasant experiences when I come in here.
You're the one missing the point. I don't care if a Bobcats' fan is enthused to join this site or not. I don't give a fucking flying fuck, how many times do I have to repeat that? When I wanted to talk with some Bobcats' fans, I found another forum. On another website. It wasn't that hard.J_Ray said:You're missing the point obviously but this site already went through this with Nets fans. There's already plenty of places to talk NBA with lots of different people. At BBF there was a wide variety of forums for other teams, it did little to improve the quality. All the people on S2 sure haven't done much to improve quality, tonight's "invasion" being the latest example out of many cases where someone comes in here trying to counter all the "homerism," leading to nothing interesting. And No, I don't want to bring more posters here b/c I'm a mod, I want the site to be active. I actually always come in to any forum with good intentions. I'm never a dick and I always voice my honest opinion. If it's a pro-Laker one, I voice it, if it's a pro-whoever the fuck else, I post it. Just because I'm a Laker fan doesn't make me biased. I may be a fan of the team but I'm a fan of the NBA first and foremost and I hardly ever let my fandom effect my opinion. If I say something, I believe it because that's what I believe, not because of who I root for.
Despite this, I still have been treated like shit on numerous occasions here.
