Is Tampa Bay tanking their season.........?

In a season where there is a lot of things wrong on a lot of teams, I still think our woes are a little more manageable, especially when you consider the front office's propensity to spend. I'd be more concerned if we had a 5-6 lead in the division and they decided to stand pat. As Rick has pointed out....a streak or two is the difference from the basement and the lead. Case in point...look at the sox and the losing streak followed by a win streak and back in the hunt.

...that was brought up last week, but it evidently didn't sink in then either...or it was forgotten.

as it stands now...in a 5 or 7 games series, we have 2 wins locked in with Tanaka. I'm not worried about ALDS. ALCS and WS are only an issue if the games are played as of roster status TODAY. One or 2 moves is all its going to take to give this team an advantage over the potential competition. 1/3 of the season still isn't an accurate trend line.

...well, I'm never ever really sure if I'm talking to tote...or this guy;

The Yankees are a 5-6 game winning streak away from being serious contenders in the east but unfortunately with there anemic offense I just don't see that happening any time soon.

In such case, the normal cure, is heavy doses of Iron Supplements for Anemia that is, not Iron filled bats in lieu of corked ones. Some are swinging like they are using Cast Iron Bats, perhaps the equipment guy should cork the bats....after all, hasn't that been the past excuse of corkers caught with illegal bats, "the equipment guy did it"...hell, at this point, I'm game for any idea, to light a fire under some asses...
