How would you rank the playoff teams as far as who you would least like to play in a series all the way to most like to play

For instance

SAS < GSW < LAC < UTA < HOU <OKC < MEM

Mine look similar to yours, but I switch a few due to matchups.
Spurs/GSW are 1a/1b as far as not wanting to face them. With how inconsistent Portland's others have been this year I might put Rockets in that group too.
The other 4 are in this order.
UTA < LAC < MEM < OKC
Unfortunately Portland will get GSW or Spurs in round 1.

1 in a million? So you're telling me there's a chance? YES!

King, forget about OKC, we want Memphis to slip out of the playoffs and have denver and us make it. Not a better scenario possible!

Technically it's possible....but extremely unlikely. They have 8 games left, the Blazers have 9....and hold the tie-breaker.

If Portland finishes 6-3 (losses to HOU, @UTA , SAS) Memphis would only have to go 3-5 the rest of the way to finish ahead of the Blazers. Portland has a lot of home games left but their home record is not that great. They may get lucky and the Spurs game may mean nothing to them by that point.

I'm guessing they mean that Portland AND Denver pass Memphis which puts them in the Lottery...and they they get lucky and get the #1 pick....which we own.
They did a great nosedive last year. Be awesome if they did it again....

Do we? I thought it's top 5 protected.

I can seriously see us passing them right at the end, just like last year. Sure, it may not mean much for the playoff picture, but still....

Memphis is on a free fall, I don't know their remaining schedule, but it certainly looks possible, not highly unlikely we can move into 7th!!!!

After tonight's game against the Pacers who are battling for 7th/playoffs, they play a bunch of tank teams. Doesn't look too promising, but I'll keep my hopes up that they pull a huge choke....

So any combination of 8 POR wins or 8 MEM losses?
I see MEM going 5-3 to close out (Pops will sit starters out against MEM and not us now!). Let's go 6-2!

If they go 5-3 we have no shot to catch them. That puts them at 45-37. If the we go 8-0 we still finish one game behind them. Getting to the 7 spot will take a minor miracle at this point. But I'm all for giving it a shot.
