MLE.
Tax-Payer or Full?I think Seth will command more than MLE if he has a good season.
Trade CJ/Turner/Meyers for Butler/Gibson/Dieng, then Butler walks. Then we'd have plenty of cap space to offer a broken-out Curry.Capologists?? I want to know if shouldn't get too attached.

Probably more like Full hahaTax-Payer or Full?
3 years. What would the contract have had to have been in order to give us Bird Rights?

Is that feasible if he breaks out? Is that all we can offer?MLE.
Yup. We'll have his "Non-Bird Rights" which means we can offer 120% his previous contract. Is that feasible if he breaks out? Is that all we can offer?
I'm pretty sure it was Curry that wanted the deal structured that way, not the Blazers. He's got a player option for next year. The Blazers wouldn't put it in his hands if they only wanted him for one year as a stop gap. Curry is on a proove it deal since he wasn't getting good offers. If he struggles or is not healthy he can just pick up his option.Bird rights are for players that played 3 years with a team. Early Bird rights are for 2 years.
As a FA signing - he would have had to get a 3 year contract and after that - the team would have his Bird rights. Clearly this was not what the Blazers wanted here. I suspect he is a stop-gap if he does well, or a short-term experiment if he does not.
Listen here Lakers fan.I don’t see him having a “breakout” season with Dame and CJ on the roster.
