Just curious what the point of directing traffic is? Are they literally trying to bait people into attacking them so they can claim they were attacked by a racist? In their mind does it make you a fascist or a racist if you don't want to follow their traffic controls? Are they just trying to demonstrate how much power and authority they think they have?

Think of it this way, the people feel their lives have been disrupted. So, they disrupt traffic to bring awareness the disruption in their lives.
