Isiah......Doesn't Know What to do With the Knicks?

I was a fan when the knicks still had the heart and before they were transformed to a pathetic team. Remember starks, oakley, smith, ewing, buck williams?? those were the days.... Spree and houston's time were better too.
as for isiah......
i respect him as a player but thats about it .. What is he doing with the knicks??? His trades R horrible to say the least... The highest salary cap in the nba and can't manage to win ?

Why trade doleac and van horn for tim thomas?
Van horn was a great scorer and playing so well,.. Doleac wasnt bad either.
why trade kthomas for ANOTHER shooting guard Q RICH who CANT DEFEND..?? We have enough shooting guards in Marbury and Jamal Crawford... And 3 of em are not defenders and are only known for their offensive game.. Its a liability playin 2 of em in the starting lineup because of their nonexisting defense.. Kurt thomas isnt in the best of forms since hes an old geezer but he was better than a surplus of guards.
and Jerome james ?? Seems like he likes signing expensive players who flop.
Even the best coach in the nba can't produce miracles if what hes workin with is a group of overrated rich unproven players.
Maurice taylor , malik rose, antonio davis are inconsistent underperforming hasbeens too.. Isiah needs to use some common sense..
Eddy Curry isnt bad but hes not even half as good as yao ming or able to carry the knick team especially when their big name guards cant shoot over 30 percent and provide more than 6 assists a game..
and ofcourse........... how could you hasbeen of all hasbeens that the knicks have purchased........ PENNNNNNNNNYYY hardaway

Isiah has made alot of bad moves but he has made alot of good moves also. He added Starbury, he added LB, he got curry, he had the best draft in the nba, and he added Crawford. Isiah has more bad then good and knicks fans will hate him for it. Knicks fans have to be patient. Wat'd u think u can just make a team and expect them to win every night?

Isiah has had enough time to make the knicks better and he has failed
you guys are way over the cap space
and any team which pays their players that much should be a playoff team
I really dont understand WHY u guys signed Jerome James to such a big contract
he hasnt even proven that he is worth 2 mill a year

When you trade expiring contracts, draft picks and young talent to get back good players you're supposed to get better right away. And we didnt get better right away which is a problem. We're still in the same place we were when Layden was running the show- on the outside looking in. We dont expect to win every night but we do expect to beat the Warriors at home and beat the Trailblazers anywhere. Isiah has given up salary, draft picks and young players to win now. The Knicks arent winning now and so Isiah should be held responsible for the shortcomings of this team.


Anyway I think Isiah Thomas should be fired.

glad to see some people in here have some sense...im just wondering why marcus camby was traded .. there were so many trades i forgot few of them. As a conclusion... IF the knicks don't make the playoffs this year... then Isiahs time is long overdue. I'd be surprised if he doesnt get fired. Paying millions of dollars for a player whos shooting bricks and not even in form (jerome james) is retarded.. If you get a big contract at least show up to training camp FIT and be in the best form in your life. Instead hes been playing horrible. I think even tim thomas and sweetney played better than him. JJ is averaging 2 points a game .. and 2 rebounds .............. approximately and other games put on the bench... 5 year 29 million dollars... Wow..... JJ must be bankin in now... i'd rather have luc longley or 40 year old deke would do better than him..

and btw... get off crawford and marburys sack.. Both of them have yet proved they can carry a team... And that was what they were expected to do when they were given the big contracts. Theyre not worth what they're payin em for.... I bet i could name 10 players in the nba who get better stats/ or cud carry a team and who are getting paid less than these overrated expensive nyc players..

I would rather have nate robinson at C then JJ. At least nate would show some effort in that position. There's rumors that he got mad when Curry was traded here because he wanted to be the starter. He's the worst signing of the year. He's the highest payed backup center in history. I agree that this move was horrible.
