Why is pot illegal, yet I can go the corner store and buy a 30 pack of Busch Light for thirteen bucks? Not that I would drink that sh*tty beer. I?m more of a Guinness man myself.
 
We've had a lot of topics on this, everyone on BBW seems to want pot legalized. I think it should be, it's just a waste for police to have to bother with it in my opinion.

I think it should be legal, its not a gateway drug the only thing it leads to is junk food.

I don't smoke weed, I don't intend to but I agree with alot of people here who want it to become legal.I think alcohol and cigarettes are both worse and more addicting than pot is.People are going to smoke it either way, Might as well save the law enforcements time and money.
 
Dude, but if they legalize it, people will be smoking it EVERYWHERE. Even if you don't smoke it, your town will probably be covered in haze and the whole country will be high.

Hell no about legalizing Marijuana. I hate the way it effects people. Cigarettes should be illegal as well though. Alcohol only effects alcoholics but most people know how to control it so it doesn't become an addiction.
 
Ok - if you know what happened when the prohabition of alcohol was going on, you wouldnt even have to think about this. When alcohol was illegal, that was the most time it was being consumed and illegaly made. Not that it isnt illegal, the people who are allowed to buy alcohol (21+) usually use it responsibly. So now that weed is illegal, it is being used sooo much, regardless of its legality. When weed is legalized it wont even be an issue.

I may just have misunderstood/misread what you were trying to say, but alcohol is much more dangerous than pot is... and probably even more addicting.Anyway... I read an article on Friday talking about how Las Vegas could POSSIBLY legalize marijuana within the city limits, and how David Stern would react if that happened since Las Vegas will be hosting the All-Star Game. Just thought that would be funny... he better pray that Rasheed Wallace doesn't make the All-Star team if that happens.

Notice he bashes smoking weed/cigarettes but plays off alcohol on most part because he drinks it. Just like people who smoke weed, defend it. It's a joke. Their all bad for you whether you want to think it or not. Also, I don't want to hear that if you drink alcohol responsively, it's not bad. One bottle or can effects your system, for some it may not be drastic, but don't tell me there's zero effects on your body through consumption of alcohol.
 
Well weed fucks with your head. Alcohol doesn't do that. Maybe it makes you more social but at least it doesn't F*ck you up like weed does. I just know that weed is not something you want to take. Alcohol is no big deal as long as you don't overdose. Some people are stupid when it comes to consumption of alcohol though.

Sounds like someone paid attention during the DARE propaganda sessions.Responsible occasional marijuana usage doesn?t ?F*ck? with your head. Many people use marijuana in the privacy of their own homes, they don?t drive on it or get addicted to heroin. I smoke, 2-3 nights a week, never at work, rarely during the day even when I have a day off. Almost everyone I know smoke a few days a week. None of us are all F*cked up or struggling to hold down a job. We enjoy smoke in the same way many people enjoy a six pack of their favorite suds.
 
That is such propaganda...I know it isnt "safe" for you...but its def not as bad as that article says it is.I can find you a thousands of articles that say just the opposite. and weed is NOT addicting at all! Also, weed smells pretty good actually, its just your opinion that you dont like the smell...but its whatever you like.

I've developed a trust with alcohol on personal experiences so those that blame alcohol for doing stupid things don't want to blame themselves for being stupid. Alcohol maybe takes away your fears of getting in trouble but that curiosity was there from the start. I've seen or heard some of the stupid things people do under pot and realize I shouldn't take it. They've given me the same argument and I almost bought into it.
 
You dont get sober for 24 hours when you're drunkYou will be sober after a couple hours after smoking.Thats a big difference for you.

This is a topic on choosing your poison I guess and drinking doesn't hurt me that much so I stick with that. I don't drink often either. Find me one of those articles that scientific evidence of pot not hurting you.
 
People do far stupider under the influence of alcohol. I?ve never heard of anyone blacking out on weed, or trying to fight every patron in a bar because of weed. Ask a cop if they would rather deal with a stoned person or a drunk. Every cop I know says stoned and don?t even think twice about it.
 
Anything in the extreme is bad for you and yes some drunks act like idiots. The things pot does do to you, you are taking lightly but that is enough info for me to not start smoking pot. Especially since it is illegal and there is punishment for it along with having to go to drug dealers.
 
Exactly. Alcohol messes with you more than weed does, that is just a fact. Maybe in your personal experiences it hasn't (speaking to mavsfan), but that doesn't mean that is the case when we're talking about people in general. People under the influence of alcohol have done far worse/crazier things than people under the influence of weed.
 
I'm just telling from my own years of research - pot is OK!!! But hey I'm all for those who don't do it or haven't or won't try it. I just think they should shut the hell up about things they don't know about.

I really don't care if somebody doesn't like to smoke, etc., because that's their own personal preference and that's the end of that. What pisses me off are when people I know tell me I shouldn't smoke and then start talking about all the bad things it does to me when they have actually no idea what they are talking about.
 
Haha funny how everyone says they researched but than don't put down a source of where they research. I also researched that Dirk is the best player in the nba. No source though. I still would like to see an article of proof that pot doesn't do sh*t.
