An unbelievable comeback with by Bibi and Likud. At this point, it looks like it actually increased its number of seats in the Knesset.

What's so sad is how the Obama Administration went all in to defeat Netanyahu simply because of personal animus. It's not sad because it's petty and craven, but rather because it's so stupid. If you understand the Israeli mindset, then you understand only when they feel threatened do they elect Likud. When they feel secure, they elect Labor.

The Israelis are natural allies of the Left. However, when one's very existence is threatened, everyone becomes a security-first voter.

That was my feeling too, they actually helped elect Bibi with shear ineptitude. They made his day before Congress way bigger than it would be on it's own merit. However, It seems like their attempt and the money they spent to defeat him, must be illegal. If not, it sure as hell should be illegal.

If the money they spent was taxpayer money, then yes, it was illegal. However, this Administration has shown it can act with impunity. The press won't investigate and the Republicans are too afraid of being called racist to do anything other than posture.

Yep, but it goes toward insuring him a special and unigue place in history when the recording is done. It won't include the USS B.H. Obama. Such a ship would be most difficult to fill out with the ships company.

I am glad that some understands what has transpired and why. For once I believe that I can actually say "Thanks Obummer". I would much rather see someone who is not afraid to call it as it is.
