I think you're missing the point of the previous post. I don't think a normal person would call athiesm a religion. Legally, a judge should call athiesm a religion, as athiests qualify to have freedom of religion as any person who practices a religion does.
You lose at reading and comprehension.
I said it is a set of beliefs, like religion.
It is a lot like religion, and in numerous ways. It's certainly fully to do with religion, even if it's a lack of religion. There's a lot of proselytizing about it - if you don't believe in the lack of a god, you'll burn in some sort of hell (or something). It competes with other religions. The (lack of) god of atheism is the only god, just as the god of Judaism or Christianity is the only god.
I'm pretty sure that atheists do believe in some things, thus have a belief system. Like science, or logic.
