Interesting and weird topic today on one of my radio shows I frequent -

This guy (millionaire) has $100,000 to pay for a model to "donate her eggs"

That just sounds wrong. Apparently the process is called "harvesting human eggs" for couples to have a child but this is a new trend. Selecting purely on physical traits.

It's sort of like dudes donating/selling their sperm. Often they are selected based on a combination of genetics and education... and since education can't be passed along to offspring, I'm not sure that makes much sense

Of course, most men can make a lot more sperm, while women can't make more eggs. On the third hand, most women have more eggs than they will ever need.

That's not the case but I do find it a little weird that they choose from random volunteers. This guy ought to ask Miss What-have-you with a big money offer rather than a pool of "models".
