Miller and Camby's age have visibly caught up with them and their big expiring contracts can be valuable this year. Brandon can hopefully be waived with an amnesty clause. And honestly, even with his extension, it might be time to look at moving on from Nate.

I think we need to move on and just expect them to never be at full strength as players. But, if you tell me at the start of training camp that we would not have Greg all year and basically not have Brandon either, trade Bayless and Martell for NOTHING in return..... I would have never guessed that we win 45+ games....... make the playoffs and push a 55+ win Dallas team to 6 games. I am proud of this team and what they accomplished this season.

We had both of those players and home court vs. Houston and were blown out 3 times including at home

Last year it was a 4/5 match up. Blown out 2 or 3 times including at home.

This year 6/3 lost a home game were blown out once and could have been twice if not for the ghost of Brandon Roy.

We were NOT beaten by a more talented team! That is for dam sure. The majority of the country picked us to win this series just based on that fact. Almost all the experts picked us to win this series based on this fact. We lost because of the same reason we have losed the passed 3 years. NATE. It's really that simple. But I don't expect you to say that seeing how you are getting paid by the team and forced to be a homer like Rice and Barrett. I prolly would to if they were signing my checks. Get a coach that can please guard the pick and roll.

Wrong. Last year Phoenix was the 3rd seed and the Blazers with the 6th seed. And, Brandon Roy was injured and totally useless in the playoffs last year.

I was highly critical of Nate's coaching last year against Phoenix. I thought he was totally outcoached by Alvin Gentry. So, I'm not in total disagreement with your general argument, but unless you can get your basic facts straight, it makes it very difficult to take your opinions seriously.

They do not seem to know when it is absolutely necessary to help on defense (like when a guy 4 inches taller has pushed back into the post) and they do not seem to know who should be helping in that situation.

Slight correction.... The Bayless trade was instrumental in completing the Wallace trade. I wouldn't say that we traded him for nothing....

Because I think he is a good overall manager, good motivator, and he has shown he is willing to change and adapt (even though slowly). Ha ha, maybe I've had too many goodbyes in my life and I don't want to say goodbye to Nate. I also believe in redemption, I want to give him a chance to redeem himself.
