I've been a fan of the Ducks since 94' when Danny O'Neil was the QB and we lost to Penn St. in the Rose Bowl. Some of my favorite Ducks to this day were on those teams, Christian McLemore, Cota and Graziani.

I probably have more knowledge about OSU football than you do and I'm not even a fan.

USC is going to be the test. Oregon has the edge in talent against every team they play except USC. Matt Barkley is really, really good and they have weapons. It'll be a tough game under the lights.

Bullshit. I've openly hated the Ducks every day I've been on these boards, and beyond. However, they will beat the fuck out of Cal. Wow! Questioning me as a fan of the UofO is like questioning me as a Blazer fan. My grandparents, parents, 85% of my friends and all kinds of other family went there. I spent 4 years down there with my then girlfriend. I am an honorary duck. I was going to hoop games (89-92 to watch my HS teammate Terrell Brandon play!) and football games all during the 80's with my dad. You are starting to stand out around here as somebody who doesn't think before he/she types. Tread wisely.

Ditto about the Huskies. I've hated the Huskies since Billy Jo Hobert. When Slick Rick came and recruited a bunch of boneheads that was the final straw. Jerramy Stevens was such a bitch!

Whittle was more of the Akili Smith era if I remember correctly. Saladin was part of the now defunct XFL. At the time he was the best RB that had ever played for the Ducks.

and it hit me, Its true... other than New Mexico and PSU, The Ducks have yet to play a full game against other opposition. Whether it be starting out slow (in most cases) or having some trouble against ASU towards the end. Pretty cool how they reached #1 with that in mind.
