1st time offenders go from 50 games suspension to 80 games.
2nd time offenders go from 100 games to 162 games.
3rd times stays as is, a lifetime ban.

And unless I misunderstood if a player is suspended at ANY time during the season he is not eligible to play in the post season.

I like it. I didn't hears the press release, or see Trout's PR either. Did they say if a player, on suspension would/could-could not I hope, collect any $$$??

I still think that there should be some way that a stipulation could be written into that contract that if you're suspended you could lose a certain amount of money. I mean the higher loss of games is indeed a step in the right direction & should act as a deterant ( forgive the spelling) but I also think the fear of loss of money might even make a bigger impact. I just don't know if #1 it could legally be done, and #2 how one would go about doing it.
