I wonder where he is going. I'm going to venture and say Miami

AI: "My people just informed me that we are getting close to a deal. I asked them to call me the when its done. I am so ready to know!" 50 minutes ago.

Make your guesses below I'm guessing we should know by lunchtime.

P-Town!!!!!!!!!!!! That's what this team is missing anyway, a REAL gangsta'!

Charlotte. AI + LB back together

I lived in NJ for a period during AI's reign in Philly, and have had the chance to follow his career closely during his heyday, so I still like Iverson. I love the whole little man against the world kind of attitude he has, where he would play through some ungodly number of injuries. I have a feeling Larry Brown will rejuvenate his career.

I'll guess NY. Sell some seats, and possibly win a few more games, making that lotto pick they gave up not AS big of a loss.

I'll second the Knicks. They're just killing time til next off-season anyway, so there's no harm to them to sign AI for a year and if it increases fan interest and ticket sales during their one more white-flag season, then it's a win for them.

As long as he doesn't get anywhere close to the Blazers, I don't care.

People have the perception that they are some sort of important "somebody" w/a megaphone.

"Listen to me!, I'm tweeting!"
"I'm going to the bathroom guys!"
"Working hard for my money!"
"Driving down <insert road> to the store!"

Seriously, who the f- cares? I guess some people do, but those types are probably the ones that bum rush a celeb asking for an autograph.

IDK, its just not for me, and in my opinion its annoying "noise". :dunno:

A lot of people seem to care actually. Ashton Kutcher of all people has over 3 million people that "follow" him.

The same thing could be said about any forum then....like this one.

I actually like twitter because it's the actual people saying it, instead of hearing it from a third or fouth person.

Like Kevin Love breaking the news that McHale had been fired.

I can definately see why someone would think like you do about it though. Just was wondering is all

Probably Miami. I'd say Houston but they don't have their full MLE any longer.

Can't get on to the whole Twitter thing. Love me some facebook though!

Many people would also wash Kutcher's car free for a year or give him expensive gifts just for the heck of it if they could. There are probably many people who believe Kutcher loves them because he made a move with his left arm up 2 degrees in a movie.

This forum is hardly equivalent to Twitter. For one thing, much to your desire, I'd be limited to my first sentence. Secondly, most people with the exception of HCP, don't post about their latest bowel movements.

Twitter has its uses, but from what I've read about 60% of it is pure junk.

That being said, Iverson to the Knicks..come on, who doesn't see that coming?

Yeah no offense taken or whatever. It just seems that half the time you're left wondering if the person tweeting is actually THAT person anyways..

eh, whatever, the most important thing is this!

I'll say.....

Celtics.

That kind of makes sense, actually. Provided the guy agreed to come off the bench without complaining.

A motivated Iverson who willingly joined a team with the understanding that he'd be their sixth man is a pretty nice prospect, even given his age.

Would Iverson, who has always played 36-42 mpg, be willing to fill the role of a 25 mpg spark plug? I don't know about that. He's got the biggest height-to-ego ratio in the league.

I know what you're sayin, I feel the same way. IMO, I just think it's stupid for a normal person to have one. I think they're for celebs and athletes, because its cool that they're saying the stuff, and the fans get news straight from them. I just don't see a point of using it if you're not a celeb/athlete:dunno:

I keep in touch with my family memeber via twitter

Sadly, I don't believe he will ever accept that role.

Between all the crap he went through as a kid, and his small (for the NBA) size, I always had a grudging admiration for the guy. OTOH, he was never as great a player as the media portrayed him, largely because he is too ego-centric.

On the third hand, getting old is a bitch! :devilwink:

He seemed to have a problem with that role last season, in Detroit.

Perhaps the experience of that terrible season and the lack of interest in him this off-season humbled him,
