I would assume that Portland would be acquiring a top 10 pick to sweeten a deal to get Chris Paul.

If you don't mind, please tell me why New Orleans would even consider trading Chris Paul. The guy is a brilliant point guard, and an almost irreplacable talent. Who in the draft is better than him?

Wouldn't it be hilarious if Webster was involved? All the Webster haters could finally shut the fuck up as Webster became the key to getting Paul.

If Webster is the main piece going out then yes I'll shut the fuck up for life.

I would not give up Aldridge AND Batum. Chris Paul is great and all, but he's a small ball-dominant guard who I'm very unsure would work well with Roy. Roy and Aldridge make each other better. Roy and Paul would subtract from each other. (That doesn't mean I wouldn't be ecstatic to get Paul for a bunch of scrubs and give that combination a try, I hasten to add.)

And I have a feeling that NO would not WANT Aldridge. He's got a big contract.

I wouldn't worry. No way is LMA part of a trade for Paul. Doesn't make sense for either team.
