This is the honest truth I used to work for a company in Milwaukee and there were restaurants I went to in the am for breakfast that I had to turn around and go somewhere else.

I used to milk and feed a neighbors Nubian goats in exchange for milk and homemade goat cheese...he used lemon juice to make it and fresh lemon soft goat cheese is the best cheese I've ever tasted....I like many varieties but that one is the best.

The funny thing is that 90% of the cheddar enthusiast population have no effin' clue about the geography and agricultural history and thus do not actually think of it as "better" because it is named after a place that popularized it in the English speaking world.
