[January] Around The NBA

Damn I bet Aldridge made Phoenix fluff his pillows for a week before telling them he was going to SA.

I feel like it makes sense for the Bulls to crush the Cavs on ABC tonight.

Although the Cavs killing the Bulls while Love goes crazy would be pretty good too...

Cavs team is 2-12 from the FT line, and their fans are booing them.

Cousins scored 48 points tonight. Gonna be a real battle with them for playoffs.

Old, but I just saw this so I'll post it here. Anyone seen this before?

Mavs lose to the Rockets..interesting comparison
Felton..16/8/2
Wes 15/1/1
both played 34 minutes...Wes is not lighting it up in Dallas

There's enough talent on the team and they've been there enough together that I'm sure they will flip into overdrive once the playoffs start...But as it stands, I wouldn't mind playing the Clippers in the playoffs. They have looked pretty bad at times throughout the season.

Rudy Gay? . . Nope.
There's a reason he's being moved again . . .

Yeah...about the Blazers meeting one of those teams in the playoffs this year...no thanks.

Duncan is already sitting out. And in case you think that's not important, check it out.
I know a lot of people hate that Pops does this, but it's part of what makes me really like the guy. He's always about the long-game.

I'm not exactly sure what RPM measures, but because you posted it and Duncan was ranked to highly I started poking around and found it funny that there are 10 (TEN!) Spurs players who rank higher in RPM than LMA.

January 26 is Australia Day. Due to their Australian players Matthew Dellavedova, and Kyrie Irving, the Cavs will be celebrating by wearing gold with green accessories in their game today against the Timberwolves. The Australian national anthem will be played before the game, and other "Australian" activities will occur during the game. The game is also being broadcast for free by NBA Australia.

Like what? Kangaroo boxing? Simulated rescue of a shark attack victim? Crocodile taunting? What are typical Australian activities, anyway? ;)

 I have no idea what they're doing.

Well 10 years ago I would have said watching/playing sport, going to the beach, cooking meat on the BBQ (especially lamb), binge drinking; but times are changing, and everyone seems offended about everything these days, so I have no idea anymore.

I'll be celebrating Australia Day by having a few drinks, watching the Cavs game, cooking some lamb chops on my kamado (smoking them with a variety of Australian native woods), watching the Australia v India cricket match; all whilst listening to the Triple J Hottest 100.

We should bring Z-Bo back in 2017 if we can get him on a legit contract. If Memphis keeps going downhill they are going to look to shake things up, Z-Bo's just one of many. I'd love to get in on some of that. If you could get Conley as backup PG then you have a crazy 3 man rotation of Lillard, Conley, and McCollum.

It will be interesting to see how Conley is courted this summer when hes an unrestricted free agent. He's arguably the best FA PG of the summer (between him and Rondo), but it will be interesting to see where he lands and how high the interest is for him.
