Delly certainly lifted his game for Australia Day - 18@50%, 4, 7

More importantly the Cavs just play better when he's on the floor. He moves the ball, defends hard, dives on lose balls, contests everything, and constantly verbally re-enforces the coaches message (even reminding LeBron of what he's supposed to be doing).

 I have no idea what they're doing.

Well 10 years ago I would have said watching/playing sport, going to the beach, cooking meat on the BBQ (especially lamb), binge drinking; but times are changing, and everyone seems offended about everything these days, so I have no idea anymore.

This sounds very similar to America lol

Yeah, we're really not all that different; except we do better coffee (Australia is the only country in the world where Starbucks failed), and you do better Q (don't let any Aussies know I said that, or I'll be gaoled).

We should bring Z-Bo back in 2017 if we can get him on a legit contract. If Memphis keeps going downhill they are going to look to shake things up, Z-Bo's just one of many. I'd love to get in on some of that. If you could get Conley as backup PG then you have a crazy 3 man rotation of Lillard, Conley, and McCollum.

It will be interesting to see how Conley is courted this summer when hes an unrestricted free agent. He's arguably the best FA PG of the summer (between him and Rondo), but it will be interesting to see where he lands and how high the interest is for him.
How the hell would we convince Conley to come here to be a backup?

The league would have to convince him. I wouldn't be shocked to see teams undervalue him.
I can't imagine Conely accepting being a backup anywhere.
I'm not so sure either. But if he doesn't get a big deal to be a starter on a good team maybe he would take what we offer him to be a backup here.

I've always been really impressed with the sports talent that comes out of Australia..for the population you guys have, you have had an impact on world competition from so many sports. I always think of Delly as a perfect example of a guy who grew up playing rugby but chose basketball..he's got a hell of a motor.

You do realize 20 teams will have max cap space and he's regarded as the best FA PG? Memphis will give him the chance the come back a starter and the Knicks will go after him hard.

Other teams that will pursue him as a starter? New Orleans, Utah, Brooklyn, Houston, Indiana

Thunder are silently scary as well. They still have Durant, Westbrook, Ibaka, and some nice pieces around them. That Thunder victory could be the most impressive win of the season. First round is going to be really tough for probably anyone outside of the 4-5 matchup. Everyone in the 6th, 7th, 8th seed is going to have a tough series no matter who they play. I guess it comes down to whether the win deficit is as strong as it has been in previous seasons. We are 6 games behind Memphis are losing the season series 2-1 with the final game in Memphis February 8th.

I was thinking Lakers would go hard for him as well as the Celtics and Pistons

Steph is just on another level
I remember when Dame came back from camp USA and he said.."That guy just can't miss!" I only saw one other player that shot like that...Pete Maravich

Your right it doesn't really make sense. It's a total pipe dream, but players get overlooked by teams. It's just not going to happen with a player as good as Conley, plus he's hitting FA at the right time.

I'm not sure we'll be able to land big free agents this off-season either, but it's going to be interesting to see how much credibility Dame has established with other guys in the league. I think making the playoffs is a good way to show other guys around the league that we are right there too. I'd say that's another reason why we should be hoping to make the playoffs regardless of the result.

GS absolutely taking it TO Tony Parker. They're attacking him with whoever he's guarding.

Aldridge looks useless... all star my ass

He shouldn't be an all-star this season. Dame is more deserving for sure.

The Warriors are an incredibly talented and well rounded team.

Sounds like the fans are chanting "Water, Water, Water"

LaMarcus has never had really great hands when it comes to catching passes. Bobbles that one which would have been easy points.

The only chance you have at staying close to GS is to minimize their possessions and slow it down. Spurs trying to play GS pace is recipe for disaster. Duncan will change this a bit but not enough,

Celtics have Isaiah Thomas (Avery Bradley and Marcus Smart play some point too) and Pistons have Reggie Jackson. Lakers have Russell, Clarkson, and Lou Williams

Al Horford seems like a Portland guy. Would be great as our starting PF or C. I've warmed up to Derozen. He'd be a good starting 3.

I think New York makes the most sense for Conley. The Knick's have been hurting for a solid PG for a while now.
