I have a problem with Quick putting Deron Williams ahead of Roy. Roy played in more games, his team won more games, and he plays with less All-Star teammates. Oh, and he made the friggin' All-Star game, while Williams did not. Plus, Quick writes glowingly of Roy's poise and his leadership, and then he craps on him by placing Deron Williams, who does much less with much more at this point, ahead of him on an All-NBA team.

Sorry, but Roy should shun him, because Quick appears to be more into himself than he is about educating himself about the NBA.

I am also entitled to say that I disagree, and I've basically been a "Quick defender" on these boards, so it's not like I am always bashing the guy. While I want Roy to shun him, at the very least I hope Brandon goes and asks Quick why he put Deron Williams ahead of him on an All-NBA team. Plus, in light of Quick promising to be even more open in his Behind the Locker Room Door articles, now that "they are all on the same page", I would hope the players limit his access, because it appears he spends more times palling around than he does watching games.

I am amazed that there are people who think that Dwyane Wade deserves it over him. Look at James' numbers on a normal team and he's probably MVP this season. Put him on a 67-win team with one alternate All-Star as a teammate? It should be the biggest MVP lock in memory.

Much better? Anthony, Nene, JR Smith, Kleiza, and some good role players like Chris Anderson and Martin? No, I would not say we have a "much" better supporting cast. At least not yet, as our guys still have a lot of room to improve. So if that is your argument, I'd say it's completely invalid. The Nuggets were a force before Billups arrived.

I think the best way to define MVP is to question where the team would be without "X" player. The Cavs without Lebron are probably a lottery team. The Lakers without Kobe, they're still pretty good. The Blazers without Roy are not making the playoffs but I don't think they're in the race for the #1 pick.

No, they went from the 8th seed to the 2nd seed. Billups is the main thing that is the difference between last year and this year. If Billups doesn't get traded to Denver Portland wins the division. Instead Billups' team is ahead of Roy's.

And the playoffs have no meaning when it comes to the MVP trophy.

A tough question: Williams or Roy?

Just got back from dinner, and boy, people must be bored tonight.

I will admit I made a huge mistake in my postseason ballot - a HUGE mistake - and I corrected it. There is no way I should have put Kevin Durant on the third team ahead of Tim Duncan. Have no idea what I was thinking. I have notified the NBA to change my ballot to reflect Duncan as third team forward in place of Durant.

Now as far as Brandon Roy on the third team behind Deron Williams ...

You all might be right. I never said it was an easy choice for me, and I never said it was the right choice.
