Naw its not for every player, its only for players that rock nike kickz & are indorsed by nike or brand Jordan. last year it seem that the award meant more when the NBA & Nike decide the winner. They use to announce the winner on NBA tv but now the fans vote so all it is a popularity contest. It doesnt mean as much as the NBA player of the week but it is still a good notch to have under your belt.

It's an interesting award, and I enjoy watching the highlights showing the (excellent) play of the winner of the award.
