Not sure if this will be deleted by Admin but I think we need a special thread on all Jason Quick Athletic Article to post here. Not everyone can pay and subscribe to read Blazers article. Thoughts?

Personally I'd love it if you did, but I doubt the forum would allow it.

Depends on what is happening and what he is writing about. Jason Quick can write a good article. But as soon as he is involved with the team he creates issues.

"Talked with Melo about facing OKC tonight. He said it wouldn’t be weird or emotional. Said he has nothing but love for Sam Presti and the Thunder coaches for giving him a chance."

This kind of stuff is what i can handle with Quick.

Boy, no kidding...

This kind of stuff is where he needs to stay out of the teams way.

"Carmelo Anthony is back and his performance on the court on Monday night still has #NBATwitter

buzzing. But there's so much more to the story.
@jwquick
has a behind-the-scenes look at what's been going on during the early days of Melo with the Blazers."

"Worked hard the past week getting to know Carmelo Anthony, and trying to understand him, his family, the Blazers and their place with each other. Five thousand words later, I have a piece I hope you will enjoy." - Jason Quick

This kind of thing really worries me. Why would getting to know someone be considered "working hard". If you are working at trying to understand someone you are trying to spin your relationship. @THE HCP needs to get with Melo and fill him in on Quick!

Boy, by the look of that crowd it must have been close to tip off in atlanta.

You're not far off. It was funny being able to hear the sneakers squeak in the middle of games.

On a way more serious note. Outright putting stories up in full is not gonna be okay. We already got in trouble with it s couple years back (well, sly heard about it and relayed it). So lets not do that mmmkay?
Would that include pasting youtube clips of videos or any youtube content without permission? I always thought of that as free advertisement for the person making the video

The difference would be views on a website will get counted towards the views on youtube, which means the creator is still making the same amount of money off of it. Posting an article on here means that advertising money, and clicks for their website don't get counted.

When Prince was alive, he was adamant about his content not being shared for free....youtube still had Prince videos

...so maybe we just request @BonesJones record a short video of him reading the Jason Quick article in its entirety?! :dunno: wait, this might be a brilliant way in general to share premium written content :devilwink:
