Berger reports that the nets would add a first round pick....

Now i do the trade

Ken Berger says deal is close.

Harris,Murphy and a 1st for miller,pryz.

That's the deal.

In fairness, berger does not say what kind of draft pick it is.... so my fault on inferring.

Berger follows up with "deal not done" but nets save 17.5 million in next 2years

Considering they have 5 firsts.... I'm gonna assume

And nik, that's from Berger, how far apart?

The Blazers and Nets are discussing a trade that would send Andre Miller and Joel Przybilla to New Jersey in exchange for Devin Harris and Troy Murphy, according to sources.

Portland has long targeted Harris as a trade target.

trade is about 2.5 mil shy from Por's end - maybe Babbit and Marks to NJ and we get that 1st rd pick?

does our trade exception help us at all in this instance? they keep saying oden makes it work, but if w can use the TE we wouldnt need as much to send back as oden yeah?

Melo to Knicks likely done tonight according to spears

Portland would get Harris, Troy Murphy and likely a draft pick for Miller and Joel Przybilla, sources say.

And a pick? whoa!

What's left of Miller > what's left of Harris.

Murphy wasn't even used this year.

Here's an idea Cho, set your sights a lot higher or do nothing at all.

Larry Miller already gutted this team, don't throw away what little value is left.

Ah good, now that MARIS has weighed in, I think it's safe to say this is in fact a good deal for the Blazers.

Quicks latest tweet...

"blazers would need to add another player"

Quick just tweeted... Pryz agent says pryz will likely be released or retire if traded

Woj says Portland not in lead:

As NY-Den push closer to finalizing Melo trade, NJ considers several deals and Portland option "isn't even in the lead," source says

Here comes rain on parade...

Wojo tweets blazers aren't even the nets first choice on trade offers

With that said... Wojo always shits on blazers

LOL. 3 of our players in a week have supposedly said that they'd leave the NBA if traded from POR.

Who says players don't like Portland? lol

Quick just tweeted... Pryz agent says pryz will likely be released or retire if traded

Wow! What a tough way for Joel to end his career! He was a warrior for us!

The Nets could release him and the Blazers could just sign him after 30 days like the Cavs did with Z last year.

It's not like the Nets have a use for Przy.

You could use a chemistry argument or a durability argument, but I think Harris has like 7 more years left on him than Miller, and right now Harris is still putting up better assists PER48 than Miller. So I'd rather have a superior distributor role-player in Harris than Miller since you can begin that chemistry over the next 5-7 years now instead of having to start all over again in 2-3 years when Miller is on social security.
