You're right. You have to have a specific post count around here before anything you say has any validity. Post content means nothing unless you have a billion posts.

I don't even know what you are talking about. God you're weird.

is that a little "small post amount syndrome" I am sensing? :devilwink:

Nope. It will go down as just one loss.

Yeah, I get that. But when you finish game out of the playoffs, or a game out of the 7th or 6th or whatever seed, you can't help but think, "What if?" And I know you can't go back, but this is further proof that this team has a big inability to close teams out and finish them off. That's the biggest concern for me. I know it's one game. But to blow a big lead and lose, it indicates a bigger problem than a simple, single loss.

Reading this thread it's easy to tell who are the bandwagon/stupid fans. Thanks for making it clear.

This place has reached oregonlive status. It's a cesspool.

Let me guess...

The people who don't agree with you are Bandwagon and stupid...

Am I close?

BTW, Calling people stupid is very high brow I'll agree. thanks for making this place the Tiffany of the internet.

This team deserves better fans than ones that have this mindset.

Oh puh-leeze! :tsktsk:

The offensive execution in the 4th quarter would have given a high-school coach a stroke. That last play of regulation - not one Blazer was defending Boozer as he grabbed the board and scored. Blowing a 20+ lead at home? The fans have every right to be burning the building down.

They'll be a minimum of three "the sky is falling" threads from mixum in the morning.

I think it indicates that Sloan is much better at adjusting than Nate, and that pretty much our entire team is worn out after playing undermanned and undersized for two months (the last one without Roy).

It's clear they're tired, they're losing their legs, and they're just getting overwhelmed after a certain point.

I wish Nate would stop talking about needing to give more scrap and start talking more about working on schemes to help get these guys easier buckets, though. They've scrapped for the last two months, and now they need some scrap from their coach.

I'd put the minimum at six, personally. There will be one about the Thunder, one about Durant (yes another separate one away from the Thunder one), one about Roy, one about the playoffs, one about the 8th seed (yes, separate), and one about KP failing with Marcus (despite him getting 18 rebounds).

No reason to have any complaints about tonight. I'm sure that's what all the players are thinking and they'll tell Mcmillan the same. Both teams played hard coach, we'll get the next one. We were only up 25 mid way through the 3rd.

We would've won with Blake and Travis. Travis used to win these games for us.

no effort all game is better than fighting hard against a better team? C'mon OSU I didnt peg you in the other camp of posters.

fighting hard has to do with mental fortitude as well, the team lost a 25 pt lead.... trust me, if they would have given 110% in the last two quarters they win the game,

the jazz were without brewer, kirelinko, okur and Millsap (at the end)

cant do that blazers

So, just like the last 3-5 years?

Rebuilding the right way is tough. It took years to get all the garbage out of here.

I've been a fan of the Blazers for as long as I've known to be a fan of anything. Sports are an inconsequential diversion. If you can't be an optimist when it comes to sports, then it's tough to be happy about anything. And I don't want to spend my life being a miserable prick; I'll leave that to others.

Did you see the teams' shooting percentages? Rebounds everywhere. If we didn't have Camby to clean some of these up, the game would have been over early, in Utah's favor. Camby had several tips on rebounds out to the top of the three-point line - he doesn't get credit for the rebound, but without those extra possessions he created, we struggle to score even more.

Actually he does get the credit for the tap out's, but I agree he was huge tonight. However, our offense is just miserable.

I knew KingSpeed was going to post that before he did. He doesn't even make it interesting anymore. He's losing his touch.

You remind me of the baby Jesus.

After seeing everyone else's responses to the post, I realized it was KingSpeed, and decided it was a wasted response on my part.

Well, not statistically all the time. He got one in the game late in overtime I believe, but it's usually a score keeper thing. Greg didn't get a lot of credit for the ones he'd tapped out, and it made me sad.
