Speaking in South Carolina today, Jeb Bush said (via CNN’s Jake Tapper),

“If this election is about how we’re going to fight to get nothing done, then I don’t want anything, I don’t want any part of it. I don’t want to be elected president to sit around and see gridlock just become so dominant that people literally are in decline in their lives. That is not my motivation. I’ve got a lot of really cool things I could do other than sit around, being miserable, listening to people demonize me and feeling compelled to demonize them. That is a joke. Elect Trump if you want that.”



Denny has become obsessed over this thread title and demands to know its origins. I find it a little odd that he wants to White Knight good old Jeb but here is exactly how I found the title I used for the thread.

I went to reddit and saw this thread -

I then went from reddit to this site - http://www.politicususa.com/2015/10/24/jeb-bush-america-lot-cool-demonized.html

I thought the title that both reddit and that politcususa was great click bait, but the article and commentary from the "Real Liberal Politics" website was hot garbage.

I sited the original source of the quote since that was the only thing I used.

Whether Clit-on or Trump trump, look for Big Bush to use his CIA buddies against the next president to raise hell till 2020, when Little Bush runs again. Big Bush is in a hurry because Neil and Marvin aren't getting any younger.

Nope, didn't say he has better things to do than be president. Reads more like he intends to do something about gridlock if elected.

He rather specifically said his motivation is to aspire to greater things than gridlock and bickering. Whether you or I agree with his agenda, that is what he said.

Lots of choices, but worse choices on the icky democratic party side.
 
The last two times we didn't have gridlock, the national debt skyrocketed.

That would be W and O, each with congress of their own party.
