Jefferson, who recently said he "stinks" since coming back, looked like he was back to his old self last night. Jason Kidd's approach during the losing streak: "You have to stay in character. You don't want to go outside and become someone that you're not. For me it's to show by example, play hard and try to make the right plays."
"We're all going to make mistakes, but if we can make aggressive mistakes, Coach can live with that. Right now, we're making mental mistakes defensively, and that puts a lot of pressure on our offense."
This is the Nets' first six-game losing streak since they lost nine straight from Nov. 10 to Nov. 28, 2004.
Lawrence Frank's scouting report on Bobcats forward and third overall pick Adam Morrison: "He has a great deal of moxie about him. He has a great feel on the offensive end. He's not just a guy that can make shots. He understands how to use screens, he's really good with the setups, he cuts hard, he has some go-to moves off the dribble -- a nice little runner going to his left, a nice little two dribbles going to his right with a pump fake. He ain't afraid. He's a very talented offensive player, and he's a fun player to watch."
Except for last night when Frank watched him put up 22 points against the Nets. </div>
