Anyone in here listening to this today? Generally, the smack-off calls are pretty entertaining, his best show of the year. I haven't listened to Rome much since Jay Mohr got his show, but I'm listening today. Anybody else?

I didn't hear it (I was late logging on to listen), but it sounds like the first caller (Mike in Wichita) was decent, but not particularly noteworthy

Well, that was regrettable. Jason in Fullerton (AKA former call-screener Jason Stewart) was slow, boring, and unfunny. Let's hope subsequent calls improve.

Richie Incognito of the Jungle hopes your chocolate milk is smooth.

Might've been nice if he'd mixed in a little bit of sports with his call, but he certainly had a lot of content. Not bad, but not a winner either.

Agreed. But the smack off has quickly become a sports-less event, with multiple one-line attacks.

LOL at this guy bashing Les in Laguna, saying he "killed the radio". This guy is pretty funny.

Brad in Corona finishing his call with a Brian Wheeler homage--can't complain about that!

Unquestioned leader in the clubhouse.

Brad in Corona tore it up. That was a good call.

There's a reason he's won this thing twice already. I remember his first smack-off back in '09--came from out of nowhere to knock it out of the park. It was a thing of beauty.

Vic was good, but was a bit monotone for my taste. You gotta add some passion and excitement, son.

Admittedly, I missed part of the call, but everything I did hear.....

Got called away from my desk for an hour, so I'm now an hour behind real time. :(

Wow--just heard the Vic in No-Cal call...Holy Crap! That may be the best call I've ever heard from him. Yeah, maybe a bit monotone, but he's really increased his rate of delivery. I think I'd actually put him ahead of Brad.

Liked Stevie's call, but I think I'd put him behind Vic and Brad.

Damn--somehow my feed skipped over the Mike/Chael combo call.
