If he's serious about the "Anyone But Trump" mindset, he should be trying super hard to appeal to the Trump voters with an eye toward gaining enough of a following to--after losing in the primary--run as a 3rd-party candidate in the general, splitting the R vote and allowing the D candidate to win.

We'll see when the primary dust settles if he (or other prospective R candidates) actually view Trump as more objectionable than the D nominee.

My nephew-in-law is a Muslim who raised his two children as devout Christians and is truly a wonderful person and a one time vice president at the largest engineering company in the world.
He strongly supported Trump in 2016.
These are not the attributes of Jeb Bush.

I think ,many americans are red of the conventional two party, lobbyist support candidates only, and that was party way an outsider like Trump won against the traditional candidates.
If I owned a new's station I would have a few televised debates involving independents, libertarians etc. candidates.
