I think this is awesome.

I don't think that speech is about rings at all. It is about working hard on your game.

I see that as a response to Allen Iverson or something. He's a failure on the court, doesn't like practice, he's all about his cool hair and points. That commercial is about kids who think the NBA is about scoring points and nothing else. Not someone who makes his teammates better, and has the vision you don't see in other scorers (Durant).

Before Michael had any rings he was still better than 3-peat Kobe, or Kobe of the past two years. People are misguided. LeBron is the only player in the NBA that can rival Jordan, if he plays long enough at that Cleveland level.

Lebron is not the leader that Jordan was. Jordan would light a fire under his teammates ass when they weren't performing well. Jordan pissed them off but they respected him.

Lebron's teammates seem like they like him but it's like James is the rockstar. You don't see Lebron ride his teammates like Jordan, Kobe or Garnette.

Well it just says a lot about the NBA when everyone's current hero sucked in the Finals but still won.

Team sport at the end of the day. Reality sucks, but Kobe only played well against the Suns a soft defense. He sucks against elite defenses.

Jordan was ringless until Scottie entered his prime years. Then he left and his team won 55 games. Face it, it has nothing to do with leadership. Jordan was better than everyone, and finally got help.

Kobe plays at a lower level in the playoffs. LeBron is only 25 and will retire with a better resume.

And KG blows in the playoffs, please don't even criticize James then cause that's hypocritical.

How is that hypocritical?

Do you agree that Jordan was a better leader than James? I could use your argument and say it has noting to do with play-off performance.

Lebron(Great Play-off Performer/Poor Leader) = 0 rings

Garnette, Bryant, Jordan (Poor Play-off Performers/Great Leaders) = 12 rings

I agree that these guys didn't get their rings until they had roster to support them. Miami will give Lebron the chance to show that he can be a champion when surrounded by the best talent in the league.

Is that an official commercial? Like, on TV and shit?

Because if it is, holy fuck, MJ just made LeBitch, his bitch.

Oh...then, boring.

Michael never quit on the Wizards

was that from a different commercial and spliced together?

They're all old news.

Durant is the king apparent.

I didn't figure it was real because Jordan and LeBron are both Nike, so I don't think they would allow that kind of feud to go public through their own commercials... but it's eerie how well that commercial mashups with LeBronze....

Thursday's game when the Heat visit Cleveland will be pretty awesome..

How is that hypocritical?

Please, KG has one of the worst WS/48 in the post-season, and got swept 7 years in a row in the first round.

Kobe has two rings, those are Shaq's 3 rings. Kobe was a 42% jumpshooter getting carried by Shaq in the 3-peat. Shaq was averaging 36 points on 58% shooting a night when Kobe was off in the Finals.

Second would be, ok Jordan was a poor leader before his six titles? Lol no, he owned Kobe then and he owns him now.

Alright I'll agree with you here.

LeBron and Wade have terrible chemistry, but, it is still early in the season. A lot can still happen.

Well we know Kobe quit on the Lakers, at least twice. 2004 and 2006. :)

Ok so Kobe won the title, because he's a hard worker? Think of who actually won the championship and you will realize, you're the one making excuses. Kobe didn't do well, his teammates bailed him out.

I don't understand why you always bring Kobe in to the argument. We know you think he's shit and that LeBron is a bagillion times better than him. That's all well and good that you think that. But seriously dude, why the fuck do you always bring Kobe in to it? No one even mentioned him aside from you.

Well, Patriot's sig was very eye-catching.

Either way, so? Look at the commercial, it doesn't make any sense considering who actually won this year.

Who's even talking about Kobe? This is a commercial about Jordan and LeBron.

Well look up the definition of analogy then.

And I like messing with Patriot.

Then it's a bad analogy... you're comparing someone who hasn't won a single Championship in his career to a guy who has five rings. We aren't talking about Jack Haley here. We're talking about the best player on a team that's won two titles in a row.

It is not a poor analogy, because often those who didn't win a championship outperformed the Finals MVP. Just like when Larry Bird was winning Finals MVP, and Jordan had nothing until Scottie Pippen entered his prime.

Well in your rush to hate on James some more, you and the creator of the commercial are ignoring what the purpose was. Listen to what he actually says, he's talking about working hard. You have no idea what point you want to make.

You must not be capable of any nuanced discussion on this matter then. Kobe choked into this title, everyone ignoring that is just a hypocrite. Jordan didn't create this commercial to let Kobe get away with choking.

He won two rings as the best player on his team. Shaq carried him for 3. To say he has five rings like he's the man, is just funny to me.

He was terrible in the Finals and against good defenses this year. He had an o-rating of 104 in the playoffs against top 10 defenses.

Sorry, but you just come off like a little kid who's whining that his dad could beat up my dad. The Heat suck right now. LeBron is nothing like Kobe or Jordan. There's a killer instinct and a drive to be the best. I've hated Kobe for most of his career, but even I can recognize that he has those traits and LeBron does not. You do realize you're arguing with a Blazer fan about Kobe, right? This isn't a Laker forum.

Yeah so? I used to be a Laker mod, I know Kobe a lot better than you. I saw every post-season Laker game the last three seasons.

The reality is you're being a little kid yourself, you believe what you want to believe but Kobe choked in the Finals and this can be proven. Everything you said is nonsense in comparison, because it is just your opinion.

The Heat suck, oh but what does that have to do with last year? You must be confused. Whether or not you like LeBron it doesn't change the fact that you just avoided all the important points in my post.

1) Kobe's not clutch, sorry. At every point last year he underperformed compared to LBJ.
2) You saying he's clutch doesn't mean anything, It has zero value. That's a little kid tactic. Man up and show me these amazing clutch periods. Oh no wait you can't, because they don't exist.
3)The analogy stands, because you can not produce anything to discredit it. Again refer to what was actually said in the commercial. Hard work buddy, not letting Kobe get away with choking while you rail on a superior player.
4)Kobe had 15 PER against the Oklahoma city thunder and his team still won. He was terrible, KD was just more terrible.
5) Kobe shot 29% in the fourth quarter, that seems like the definition of anti closer, if there ever was one.
6) DWade also sucks this year, and he's better than Kobe.
7)In fact both LeBron and Wade were much much better than Kobe against elite defenses, and they both suck this year. That has probably a lot more to do with chemistry than any talent Kobe has.
8) Lol having fun? Don't worry about what I tell Patriot next time, dude.
