For baseball lovers, he was a superstar. The guy was a stud and an ace in every sense of the word. If I could compare him to, say, basketball superstars... he was on the Chris Paul side of stardom. He was so much freaking fun to watch pitch... just devastating stuff... but he played it with so much joy... Joy that I played the game as as a little leaguer... you just don't see that anymore... it pisses me off... waking up to this it just tore my heart. There's so few of these guys ever in the league. Genuinely a good dude. God damnit.

He only started 73 games... which I was really surprised at... but he had some of the nastiest stuff I'd ever seen.
