Plus, Love is very happy with Adelman as the coach and the signing of Brandon Roy, and the addition of Chase Budinger.

Minnesota is the place to go because Rubio is a pass first PG, Love is an All-Star PF, the best rebounder in the game, and a big guy who stretches the defense. The Wolves also have a talented young center in Nikola Pekovic.

And it's already been announced that Indiana will match Hibbert.

MY THOUGHTS EXACTLY.

Batum appears to be complaint about the old regime. We are starting fresh in more ways than one. Minnesota has a star that is disgruntled and wants out in Kevin Love. They are hardly a ideal situation for a FA to want to go to. I would rate Portland situation much higher, also seeing that this team can quickly turn it around if a guy like Hibbert does end up here and we get a coach that will play anything but snail ball.

I don't see Batums complaints and no way I see them being justified anymore. If this was last offseason, yes. But not this one.

I like Batum, but i think the wolves are drastically overpaying for him.. similar to what the blazers are doing for Hibbert.

My thought is that Batum is more valuable to the Wolves than he is to the Blazers and they could live without him because you see how productive he is in Portland, but no idea what he can do in MN.

I am not a homer.. but I do believe with a healthy Rubio and an improved Williams.. This team is an 8 seed contender. Love is a great foundation to build on.
