Tried to think what team might possibly want Harden, and I figured given the other players they've talked themselves into, maybe the Bulls!
Carlik Jones might be a hidden gem...

I hope that after all the moves if there is a roster spot, he will be brought back.
Would rather get a backup C. I don't really care about winning, just want some semblance of balance. If Ayton gets hurt, our rebounding goes to shit even more.

I remember seeing stats that he wasn't a good defender when playing the 3.

I'm interested in trying it, but the stats were pretty convincing. Though I don't remember where the stats were.

Either way, I don't think it'll hurt Grant's trade value to try it. So definitely worth a shot.
As you can see by my signature, I don't trust stats to tell the whole story. Especially defensive stats and even more so when, most of the time, you're on the floor with Dame and/or Ant.

You don't believe in Brown and Reath as our reserve center tandem?

We'd have to immediately flip him or buy him out.
Why? To get zero value from Jrue? To trade Paul for less than we can get for Jrue? There is no Warriors delimma because they will never be in a position to make that choice. Jrue is the most valuable on the market Blazers trade chip ever that I can think of. It's another arrogant article written for an arrogant fan base that thinks they can pick and choose other teams' players.

Why the fuck would the Blazers want Chris Paul? That's a non-starter. I don't ever want to hear that name again in conjunction with the Blazers.
dude, they would just buy him out, he's only salary ballast for the trade and getting Kuminga an pick/picks

I'm coming around on the Bulls.

As far as salary fillers go, Ball is easily the most intriguing I've heard mentioned. If he ever plays again, imo, he would be the perfect backcourt guy to play next to Ant (if Ant is still here and if Ant comes off the bench). I hope either of those two circumstances come true.

I don't think Kuminga and a couple picks would be zero value. Paul is filler. I want a young player like Kuminga and a couple picks.

OR: Harden-OKC reunion! He gets to play himself into shape and OKC can flip him at the trade deadline

Who would be better for us between Kuminga and PWill? The more I read about Williams the more I want him. Plus I think we can get 2 picks from the Bulls especially if one of them is ours.

That's my preferred result right now. Ball/PWill/Caruso/our pick/Bulls '27. I'd be very happy with that.

Boy, we Blazers fans are great at convincing ourselves that players with irredeemably fucked up knees can make comebacks...

There is a player I would like to see Joe make a trade for. But I have no clue how to make it happen. Maybe in a 3 team deal using some of our assets to get it done?

A 3rd year 6'10" small forward that does everything well, on both sides of the court. Franz Wagner from Orlando.

Yeah, he's pretty much untouchable.

Yes, Lonzo won't play this coming season and perhaps never again. Believe his contract is currently paid by insurance but he does take capspace which should not be a big concern for us at this time. If the return coming back is good enough I'd do it, if not then I think we have other options.

Cam Johnson is such a dream target for me but we'd have to wait a few months to do a trade for him. Checks so many boxes. But hes also a win now player.

If we are targeting younger guys, Herb Jones, Okongwu, Kuminga, Eason, McDaniels are all high on my list.

Cam is.. 27, Herb is 24 - their ages are a bit on the higher side for what you'd like around our main guys.

I just don't see why the Bulls do that. They're not going to become a contender and they need to get younger, not older.

The Bulls would disagree with you. They recently re-signed their 32-year-old center.

Vucevic, 32, will remain in the Windy City after agreeing to a reported $60 million deal.

Nikola Vucevic and the Chicago Bulls have agreed to a contract extension, the team announced on Wednesday.

Vucevic, who was set to become an unrestricted free agent on Friday, will remain in the Windy City on a reported three-year, $60 million extension, per multiple reports.

Funny, flipping Holiday for 3 PG's. Oh and we get our pick back - which will be late in the first round or a 2nd rounder.

You want the Blazers to have 5 PG's?
